This looks like it's going quite well but just a suggestion, on the high priced plays, why don't you play the runline (-1 or -1.5). Of the 4 "high priced" plays you've had so far, 3 would have won on the first game and the other would have won on the second game:
- Phillies 4th June win by 1 ==> Phillies 5th June win by 4
- Giants 14th June win by 8
- Redsox 15th June win by 3
- Cards 18th June win by 2

Seems like you could have added a few more units playing that way but I don't want to distract you from something that is going so well, just a bit of insight.

Good point, and one could play the run line. I never have played the run line using this system so I can't say how that would have calculated over the years. I would be leaning more toward splitting it half run line, half ML and see how that plays out. BOL tonight

Just noticed your thread good work up to now and thanks for the compliments...

Some have asked how the high juice favorites can be eliminated..very simple you use a filter of no favs over -170...it is quite a bit more challenging...I used the filter in my thread for about three weeks...worked fine actually... But with people wanting picks and winners...the easiest way to do it is include the big favs...bet very small on (-200) or more on the "A" bet...leaves you plenty of room if it moves to next game...if not take the small profit and move on...

So for anyone thinking about working out their own system...sure it is easy to eliminate the high juice favs...create a filter for it... Even if you follow someone else you can add your own filters to their system... Say you only wanted to bet under -170, or teams above .500, or whatever you find that gives you an edge...

With these systems it is not picking winners..that is not enough...it is all about money management, showing the odds, plays and risk/reward ratios which show the results....

Thanks G, I've been following your good work for awhile. As you probably noticed I take my unit down to a 1/2 unit play if the juice gets too high. I try to stay away from run lines, probably just because I'm "old school" and I was told by a wiser man than me, 40+ years ago, never to bet run lines. I like your thoughts on people adding their own filters if they want. Keep up the great work, and good luck this weekend.

First of all I would like to wish everyone a safe 4th of July. We really are very lucky to live in this great country.

Now back to sports. Please note, I made an addition error in post #62. YTD should have been 16.5-0. You will notice the breakdown of A,B and C plays is correct. I have corrected that error on this post. As my daughter would say, "my bad'.

Thanks Broadway. I been around awhile and think of myself as old school and never did a chase until a number of years ago when I ran into someone who had been very sucessful with one. I tweeked a bit over the years, and been fortunate to to have winning seasons using it.

You should be posting the odds (-200, -315, etc). Also, the units won. Obviously 20-0 means 20 units won, but 20-1 could mean you are down 3 units (depending on the juice). I guess you don't have to worry until you lose a series, but would be good to know either way. Some of your C-bets are quite high in terms of the units you are laying to win 1.

As you will notice, if the price is too high, (approximately 180 and above) I only play 1/2 unit. You're right about the C plays, but some of the filters I incorporate look for the team to win the A and at worst the B play. If we do lose a
