#982Yes, but I don't know off the top of my head.
here is basically how it works
say you want to win $100
-200 ML and +100 RL = -150 easy enough
you would bet ($100) enough to win $50 on the ML and risk $50 on the RL so they cancel each other out if they win by 1 run and give you the $100 profit if it wins by 2 or more.
the amount you risk on the RL is always equal to the amount to win on the ML so they cancel each other out if it is a 1 run win
Well said brotherComment -

I would really appreciate if anyone can help me out here. I looked into TheGreek, Legends, and Diamond but im worried about the safety of my money. Before i put a large amount on i wanted to make sure i will be able to withdraw my money and potential winnings. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. THANKS.Comment -

#986Hey Rev, Whats your thoughts on Halladay Tonight against Struggling Giants? I like the Brewers and was thinking about doing a Two Teamer with Philly. Just curious, cause I didn't see them as your individual play or FAV.Comment -

#987Rev, I'm curious about the Cards series. I completely understand doing a two-game chase on Milwaukee, but I'm not sure I understand why you'd do a two-game chase on STL if they lose tonight. I feel like if you're going to do a two-game chase on the Cards, starting at 3 units, why not just start from the first game in the series, and you might get lucky and the Cards hit it tonight.Comment -

#991Ok to follow up, I am new to bases betting as of this season. On the few sites I play on I don't see anything about betting the series in baseball. Do we just bet all 3 games individually and try to reach our units desired/chase it etc? Do some sites not have this option?
Thanks
EDIT: Ok I noticed you are betting individual games. Why on some are you trying to get 1.5 units as a win. I understand the 2 game chase if you expect them to win the series and lost the first game.
the reason for the 2 game chase is because i think they will win in the first 2 games, and if they dont, then i am done with the chase, because i dont like the pitching match-up in the 3rd game.Comment -

#992ok... to the people posting asking about how this chase works without doing any reading first, read this thread through starting most importantly with page 1, you should figure it out. There are numerous other threads in this forum with chase systems to read, in case this thread didn't make it clear to you. Rev, myself, the other people working on these systems are more than happy to explain anything and everything, we are all in this together, but with that said, do a little reading first and figure the basics out. We aren't here to give a synopsis to every person who jumps in without doing a little research.
With that said, here are my plays for tomorrow (My play in caps):
A: Cle @ LAA
A: Was @ CHC
A: Pit @ MIL
A: PHI @ Sf 2 Games Only,
Thats it for tomorrow... I'll consider playing STL if they lose tomorrow.
thanks, and good luck all,
John
thanks for your help in the thread!Comment -

#993Reverend: What website do you use to attain the scheduled pitching matchup for each game in the series?

#994John brings up a great point. This is something that may get implemented into the system soon. If you are wary of the large juice in some of these games, then play the A bet on the -1 RL. If it pushes, then just pass on the series, we will have plenty more, and if it loses, then you are looking at a much smaller B and C bet.Comment -

#999The Phillies did not make it through my various sets of filters, but if you are playing the Phillies, then make sure it is only as a 2 game chase. And keep your fingers crossed they win tonight because tomorrows match-up is between 2 pitchers that are both pretty bad. As for tonight, Sanchez has the "stuff" to shut any team down on any given night. I also did not really like the line movement for the game. But I love Halladay and am pulling for you guys!Comment -

#1001Like I said a few posts above, Halladay is the best mlb pitcher in my mind, but with that said, Sanchez can shut down any team on a given night. I lean to Halladay in this game for sure, but I am laying off of it.Comment -

Great question. The main reason the Cards did not make it as a Series System play is because of the pitching math-up tonight. The pitching edge goes to the Braves, but because its a home game for the Cards, I see this as a coin flip game, and so does Vegas. So, instead of risking 1.5 units to win 1.5 units, and flipping a coin, I decided to sit on the sidelines and wait for game 2. I am rooting for the Braves to win this one, so we can hop on the Cards on Tuesday.Comment -

Right, but let's just say you decide to play tonight. You're risking 1.5 units to win 1.5 units, and if you lose you start tomorrow risking what you were going to anyway. If it's a two-game chase you're going to be starting to win 3 units, right? I just feel like it's a free opportunity to win an extra one. If the Cards lose and you're on the first game, then you're at the exact same point you would be tomorrow, and if they win then you just won 1.5 units by playing it, whereas waiting to see if they lose and then playing would take this series out of it. It's your system, and it's worked great so far, I just wanted to bring this up because like I just wrote, it seems like a "free" play tonight if you're going to start it tomorrow as a two-game chase pending a loss tonight.
I am trying to win 3 units in the Brewers 2 game chase because I like the match-ups. That is not always the case with a 2 game chase.
Sorry if I mixed that up for you...Comment -

#1010no worries jvp...that is what this thread is for. to work through they systems and all that goes along with it.
but like i said, i think you would be safe playing the cards as a series chase. i am just trying to limit my exposure by passing on game 1.Comment -
