It's been said in other threads, but the Pit change is definitely going to positively affect the Giants. The line went from SF -165 to -190 very fast once it was announced

I think it could go either way , I took Tampa today because I felt like Garza could mix it up a little more than Guthrie and that put the better offense in play for me with a better pitcher , not sure if this helps , but just the way I saw this game...

To me, it goes back to the pitcher verses the batter match-ups. Some players will "always" hit this/that pitcher while others will "never" leave the batters' box. In general, at this point in the season, I would give the advantage to the batters by the slightest of margins (50.2 to 49.8) but as the season where's on those numbers, and how I do them, will reverse and then flatten out. This part has not been added into the selection process yet, it's being tracked and now in it's second season.

I thought I wouldn't need to post this again, but it needs to be listed.

Every person `caps the games a way that works best for them and I have no issues with it. Just like everyone runs hot and cold during the course of the season. Trying to base "everything" off these few days of the season is, in my opinion, not the best choice but it's choice to do as you see fit. This thread will have it's ups and downs between now and September and probably more than a couple times - being able to with stand the short term losses can be accomplished by staying the course. Let's not think "short term" but remember to encompass the whole season.
