Minnesota walked-off on a 2-run bomb by Sano, bottom 9th broke the 3-3 tie with Atlanta.

Oakland lost 6-5 at the Cubs interleague game, but made a late comeback attempt. Marcus Semien gave the last pitch a long ride in the top of the 9th that almost produced a three-run shot that woulda put the A's ahead, but instead was caught near the wall for the final out. Semien already hit two homeruns in the game.

Nailed this spot play. Logic was: Yu Darvish (4-5) at Trevor Bauer (9-8) starting pitchers. Darvish was in better form in the most recent outings. However, Cubs are a bad road team (22-33) and the public consensus showed bettors were taking Cubs tonight, which I thought might be because they easily won game 1 of the series yesterday.

More importantly, I've dug out of the -52.11 unit deficit low-point of June 22,
to a new season High-Point in profits!

Actual PROFITS !!!!!!!

Took a wrong-turn getting here, but playing this high-volatility style pays off when I'm in my zone.

After a bad, winless day for me, what I'm seeing in this game is a Phillies team which is just not playing good baseball, as a thin road favorite in San Francisco for the series finale. Both teams have been in a bit of a recent funk, however Phillies have committed at least one fielding error in EVERY game during the month of August (they were errorless on July 31). Although with Jake Arrieta starting it seems that Philadelphia has the pitching advantage against a relatively unknown lefty starter Conner Menez for the Giants, both teams need the win, and I trust Bruce Bochy leading the Giants at home in the primetime game.

Fooled myself today badly. Instead of following-thru on all of my 1-unit losing underdog picks from yesterday, I passed on Washington and Colorado, not to mention went against Texas with today’s bigger Milwaukee pick – and they all won today.


3 totals picks went 0-2-1 and the push in Miami was pretty lucky as they stalled out on 5-4 after a high-scoring first half of the game.


The Sunday Night game result worked for me. Phillies overall recently have not been playing good. Giants have been struggling offensively. I felt the game could go either way, but wanted to play it when the market kept buying the Phillies leading up to gametime. Giants fought to keep the game tight in every aspect, then scored 3-runs in the bottom of the 8^th to charge ahead 9-6 final.
