I look at a variety of things, pitcher vs hitter statistics (whip, BA, Slugging, etc), left right matchups, line movements to name a few. Much of the public is on the Mets, and I liked the Nationals once the line came out at around -130 something, hence I feel like I'm getting a good price here. I've been on a hot streak recently, I'm due for a loss, so trail with caution. GL.

I've recently gotten some messages regarding my picks and how they are derived. Let me say, I'm in no position to post write-ups because it is a certain system I use with a variety of factors. In addition, picking +70% requires a lot of luck. For those of you who are new, thespread.com and vegasinsider are 2 great places to do research and readup on matchups. In addition, I see many people posting a plethora of picks daily, its best to filter out games based on criteria and try to have around 3-4 picks a day (subject to change based upon matchups). If you ever have a question/concern I'll be more than happy to assist, and best of luck to all in the future.

Games I'm looking at for tonight include:
Atl/ Pitt -early lean towards ATL
Min/ Oak- early lean towards Oak, no play yet on either.

Brief write-up
Much of the public (62%), including many people on this forum are on the Pirates tonight. Even though line movements suggest a Pirates victory, matchups do not infer such an outcome. The Braves offense is great versus left handed pitchers and racked up Duke the last time they played. On the other hand, the Pirates have never seen Kawakami, could be an advantage in the early innings (Atl first 5?). One interesting fact: the last time Duke faced the Braves he was a similar sized dog with a similar O/U and the Pirates loss 11-1. The one factor that caused hesitation in this pick was the reverse line movement in favor of the Pirates. However, I think the matchups cancel this out.

Again, like all my picks, compare with your own assertions and act accordingly. GL

First of all, GL with the Braves. As for the second part, I don't think its humanely possible to cap at +70%, so probably not.

As for Later, early leans are Wings and staying away from the WhiteSox or Tigers, as I have no clue what each team will bring to the table.

I was talking to one of my boys, he said Contreras should be solid tonight because he watched him pitch well in his stint in the minors (his bro plays on one of the teams). This mixed with the fact its the second game of a double header, gives the U 10 -115 to win 1.5 unit play. GL
