I took the No-CLE/DET pick. I took it after seeing that there was no score in the 1st of the earlier CLE-DET games this series. I know that's not the only variable to look for but gave me the extra nudge. Nice job.

The main reason why I took that bet is because both starters have extremely low 1st inning ERA's. I almost never use that variable, but it just stuck out and was yelling "Take me, PLEEEEEAAAASE".

And that is the reason is why I didn't want to risk the standard 4%.

This will be interesting. I actually like the LAA/TB bet the best.

What I like most about the matchup is; both starting pitchers 1st innning ERA's are average to slightly high, but the combination of both of them pitching so well in the first inning, over their last few matchups along with a few very interesting team stats had me all over this line.

I actually think the under is overpriced and the over is a slight rip off. That's just me and my analysis...

If Trout doesn't go yard and Forsythe doesn't hit a double to lead off, I think I'll be fine. We will see, time will tell.

Wow. Great call. I bought out and then added what I would've won on lep's pick. Good job convincing me. I went back and looked at the last 3 games for both starting pitchers to see how they fared in the 1st inns. Blank jobs all around.

Do you mind sharing, when you have time, what team stats struck out to you as interesting in this matchup?

Excellent work, I tailed for the first time today Quick question, where do you find 1st inning ERA and other info for 1st inning stats. I looked on baseball reference and teamrankings sites but couldn't seem to find 1st inning ERA info.
