At the prices I'm seeing it might be worth a fade. I faded both yesterday. CHC was a steep favorite to play (> -200) but TEX was a nice underdog (+120 or so). Betonline has CHC at -186 and TEX at +103. Hard to go against Keuchel but the RPI discrepancy is too large and CHC and TEX are #1 and #2 respectively in the RPI standings.

This isn't even worth arguing over, JM go to sbrodds and check out the lines for 6-6-16. You will see your wrong, if your book had the lines your posting congrats you won but for the rest of us Houston was favored as they were for most of this series and the series before.

I'm not arguing at all. It's the point in time when the odds favor JM the most(whether it be the night before the game or whenever). Night before HOU/TEX game line was -115 but obviously the line changed the day of the game. I've witnessed this before, I've been following this system since 2008. Also, if team you are betting on is -115 or lower, you are supposed to bet the reverse RL +1.5

Chicago White Sox would be the only official play today according to the rules as they actually have a higher RPI then KC. The other 3 plays would be unofficial due to >.015 RPI difference between the teams. Will try to update more if the other guys fall off.

*There is debate as to whether HOU was considered a dog or a favorite for bet B in this series. VegasInsider had HOU open up as a small dog and by 10:58 pm EST on 6/6, the Astros ate a Super Mario power up star and a bunch of shrooms and ballooned to a favorite and stayed that way until game time. For those who placed their bets on HOU while they were favorites, they still would have won their series had they gone on and played bet C which they won.

Going forward, I wonder what a bettor is supposed to do if this scenario occurs again but in reverse. If a team started as a fave but became a dog by game time, do you bet the RL also if you already placed a ML bet?

                                            ----------

I've only updated for the above two series but I'll try to update for the other series up to this point unless someone else is able to. I'm studying for the bar exam, am working full time and have a 6.5 month old so I don't have a lot of time to begin with but I'll try my best. Any help is appreciated! I really do like having the records updated!

Sweatin da Bet, if you're out there buddy, please come back! And, of course, thank you for all you've done so far! Even if you decide to call it quits from here on out you've been awesome and generous with your time and insight.

                                              ----------

Okay. I just said f*ck it and decided to update everything up to this point. I triple checked myself to make sure I got the records right but if you see something awry please let me know. First time doing this so hopefully I get it right. After some early season series losses, it's nice to see the system stabilize.

Forgive me if the RPI numbers are not 100% accurate for each game. I'm just going by what I see today. Not even sure if I can check RPI for teams for past days. All I see is an up-to-date RPI ranking on ESPN for the season to date.

Also, if anyone is able to provide the origin of this system and where it came from, please let me know. For a time, I thought it was the same system that John Morrison and/or Chad Smith (aka Sportsbettingstar) was following, but I am not sure anymore. Any clarification would be great!

Lastly, is there a running chart of all the upcoming series? Is someone able to keep track and post periodically the remaining series while adding new series to that?

Thanks for updating man. Hopefully someone will be able to take over.

I think this is a JM system but they had to rename it.

6/13 TEX (#2 .539 AWAY 15-14) vs OAK (#27 .475 HOME 13-16) - RPI margin .064; Strongest series based on RPI margin alone.

6/13 WSH (#3 .529 HOME 18-11) vs CHC (#1 .544 AWAY 21-10) - RPI margin is .015 which is right at the threshold but what makes this unofficial is that CHC is #1 RPI. Still, WSH is #3 RPI so probably still a strong bet.

                                                          6/13 KC (#17 .497 HOME 19-7) vs CLE (#7 .515 AWAY 18-15)
                                                          - RPI margin is .018 which is right outside the threshold given the strong home record for KC, I'd feel good about playing KC in this series.

                                                          ----------

PHI was an underdog so PHI +1.5 won although going into the bottom of the 9th, they were winning 4-3. Since they suck so bad they let up two runs to WSH and lost the damn game. I bet both the RL and ML and while I recouped my RL loss (only bet PHI RL starting bet B), lost a little bit on the ML (+229).

Going forward, I'm going to update using shortened versions of team names. It'll follow how ESPN shortens team names in their box scores. Hopefully this is okay for those following. It'll save me some time in updating records.

I'm also going to include home and away records in the plays to give you guys some idea as to how both teams are. This should help people a bit. Does anyone have a link to a ranked standings for home and away records of all the teams? I tried Googling around for one but couldn't find one easily. I'm probably dumb and just overlooking something. If someone could share a link with me if they find one that'd be great. I'll include the ranks for the home/away records as well as this is a system filter (three worst record teams are filtered out). But, it'll generally be helpful to know how strong teams are home/away. I know it'll change my confidence level per bet.

Scherzer was lights out for WSH, KC's home advantage continues to be nasty, CWS was down 7-0 going into the bottom of the 3rd and then the system worked its magic. Both the Angels and Rangers got spanked but I actually like the situation they're in for bet B tomorrow. Teams that lose pretty bad the night before and are facing a team that is normally pretty bad tend to come back from that in the next game or two. At least that's my unofficial experience anyway.

We got two bet Bs (including one v2.0 bet) and one bet A for tomorrow, all official series. As always, let me know if I made any mistakes or if you'd like to see certain improvements/adjustments. Hopefully this is helping you guys. Good luck everyone!
