No time to explain a lot but picks are simple. Boston's offense improved (esp. v RHP) and Dickey worse than Buchholz. CC with sabers who point to improvement and Yanks offense way better than LAA (esp. v LHP).

Successful baseball capping is not easy, the season is so long...succeed or fail your picks are based upon sound logic that I and others appreciate you being generous enough to take the time to share via writeup when you are able.

We can only hope that the appreciation of those of us who do appreciate this is judged by you to be reason enough to stay and continue, that it outweighs whatever negativity Soul Crushing Spirit Killers will post.

I only gotta laugh because this guy first 'praises' (exaggerating) my work and shows respect, then because of me answering the question of another user (!) in his thread about guys doing after a no-hitter in their previous start, he goes mad and talks BS about me, although I never said anything about his pick being bad or not and on top of that he asks me questions per PM if a -1 bet is won, when the picked team wins it by 1 run or it's a push (hm, why me?), because another guy with a kinda big mouth grades his picks as won when they in fact did push. Oh, and previously he left his own DoD thread because of too much negativity, when a few weeks later he says to others they have to get a thicker skin to stay in here...


What right does this guy have to make fun of me? I have no problem when someone criticizes my picks or has another opinion than me. But with this background I can't take it seriously.

Did he ever say something bad about me when I was up 13 units or more? No. Only when I made some dumb and too many picks (which I even did admit) and lost some units he started making fun of me because ... noone knows than him.

Expected him to give up 3 or 4 but not the Yankees scoring only 1. Besides the shutout vs Keuchel they were quite solid against lefties lately. Batting 1-10 in scoring position was rather bad.

Imo the line is not fair. It would be fair in a normal environment in which the home team can profit from playing at home. But Miami hasn't done well at home all season long.

It's also not fair with the Giants having won 15 of their last 21 road games (scoring 6.2 runs/game), Vogelsong being much stronger compared to the start of the season, the Marlins being 10-15 at home this season (including 1-5 in their last 6 home games), the Marlins losing 8 times in Latos' 12 starts, the Marlins being without Stanton, and several other things. Giants are one of the best teams versus righties. And Marlins suck vs righties. Big time.

But that's only my opinion and if I am off, so be it.

Trout made a couple of exceptional & timely plays, literally kept Yank's Runs off the board with some excellent defensive work....homered as well. One Man Yanks Wrecking Crew in that one: Trout.
