    April 16: 1st Five Orioles -110
Odorizzi vs. Gonzalez. Both have had mixed results. Odorizzi comes off a disastrous road start @ KC. He is also recovering from a bout with the flu. Gonzalez settled against the Yanks after early trouble. TB has really struggled to hit on the road, below .200 do if the O's can jump on Odorizzi they might carry a lead through five.

This could be the fade thread to end all fade threads If I win the 1st bet, it's about a certainty so far that the 2nd bet loses. Seem to find a game a day where hits with RISP is lacking.

                April 17: Blue Jays-Twins Over 7.5 [+100]
Dickey vs. Gibson. Rickey has been hit hard twice and pitched well once so far. He has a career 6.11 ERA vs. MIN & most of the regs have some solid swings against the knuckler. Gibson has been able to wiggle out of self inflicted problems, but I think trouble finds him if he keeps walking batters. MIN remains torrid on OVERs with 11/13 cashing so far. Chilly today, but I think it'll be okay for the hitters if they are patient with these two. Both pens can help aid this if the starters can be booted by the 6th or 7th.

April 17: Royals Team Total Under 4 [-125]
Feldman totes the rubber for HOU and will likely be emotionally charged again after attending his father's funeral. He was brilliant pitching on the day the news broke in his last start, shutting out TEX in 7 IP. In three starts, the opposition has failed to score more than four runs. The longer Feldman is in, the better as he has allowed just one earned run and the HOU bullpen is still a gas can. KC has only scored more than four runs three times in 13 games.

Be lucky if this even has a chance to push. Feldman getting hit early. Probably be a loser before the 4th inning. Just the way my day has gone.

Samardjiza goes for the Cubs. He's been great so far, but has mixed results vs. CIN. Just once in three starts has the opposition scored three when Samardjiza has started. He has gone against a couple mundane offenses in PHI & PIT though. STL scratched out three last time. Getting the pen for a couple. That is a key with CHI sporting a 6+ ERA at home from its relief corps. CIN is hot with 30 runsscored in their last four and CHI has given up at least three in 9/13 overall.

                                                  Apeil 18: 1st Five Yankees-Rays Over 3.5 [-115]
Kuroda vs. Bedard. Liking this mostly due to Bedard. Another lefty and NYY are pounding southpaws at a .284 clip, over .300 on the road. They come in fresh off scoring six off David Price in 5 IP. Soriano and Ichiro have both killed Bedard, while Johnson & McCann also have success against him. This is his first real outing after a rough Spring. Kuroda has been beat up by TB to the tune of a 7.36 ERA lifetime. Joyce, Zobrist & Longoria have beat up him good. Both pens are good, so early runs might not necessarily yield an over for the game - so I like the 1st Five with an early outburst somewhere I think.

April 19: Reds Team Total Over 4 [-125]
Hitting this one again today. Edwin Jackson goes for CHI and he has been struggling with an ERA over 6 so far. After a productive opener against PIT, he has given up at least four earned runs or more in his last two starts. Combined with the bullpen woes, opponents have scored four or more in each of his three starts. Jackson does have decent #s against CIN for his career with a 3.00 ERA. Still, a few of the CIN regs have belted him well over the years. Votto is 6/16 with a couple HRs. Phillips is 4/11. Frazier is 3/6. The rest of the lineup has had limited success against him, but with his current struggles - I like CIN to produce again today. They now have five straight games scoring four or more after their rough offensive start to 2014. CHI has now given up four or more in 5/7 @ Wrigley so far this season.

Good push for the 1st one since it looked in trouble most of the game.

Alvarez takes the mound for MIA. His WHIP is an astronomical 2.16 in three starts. He's allowing too many base runners and as a result, the opposition has scored at least four runs in each of his starts. Overall, MIA has given up at least four runs in 10 of their last 11. SEA has been a little inconsistent offensively, but they have scored four or more in 3/5 on their current road trip. They hit about 20 points higher on the road so far.

They're making Alvarez look like a legit pitcher.

Both starting relievers basically who had not pitched all that well and today - no big hits in the couple of situations with base runners on. Tampa the big culprit. arggggh.
