When I see TA talking about the weather over in his home town, I usually smell an autoplay. I'm following you on that 10 unit play. GL to us.
TA, I am leaning on Detroit for the second. What is the proverbial forecast for later on today? Detroit is looking good to me so far in the first header. I like to see Verlander in, but not sure about his late season performance. Seems not as stable; however, what I have noticed is Verlander's victories after loss. If GM 1 loses I might be more inclined to play Det in the second.

I watched the tigers game earlier and I'm thinking about betting them in the night end of the Double header. Their backs are up against the wall now with their ace on the mound. I also like that they have their closer and MN doesn't. TA and Co. any thoughts? also ta will ordonez play in this game? I dont know what his contract status is? how far away from that bonus is he? Game two will be played under the lights under breezy conditions similar to this afternoon but with more forceful gusts and be chilly. SP should give thought to adding the undersleeve to keep their muscles warm while in the dugout - a jacket goes without saying. While taking or losing both parts of a doubleheader can and does happen when a team has their ace, and high award SP on the mound, teams should feel good - provided they can make contact at the plate which they should. It would come to me as no surprise to see JV go deep into the game, if not all 9, or he could be gone by the sixth. You should already know what I think about the game as it will be listed shortly.
Were you and I watching the same game? This loss goes solely on Lyons for those two wild pitches. Prior to that the game was exciting, competitive and for a shot at being in the playoffs. This series should have that type of intensity every game. It was a great game to watch but I didn't like the outcome.Comment -

I just thought at the bottom of 2nd and 3rd, the Tigers had some chances to score, but you are right about the wild pitches... I wonder why Lyons wasn't pulled? It didn't seem like he had any confidence.

That was a GREAT game in my opinion - many moves by the mangers, sacrifices, but the play of the day was the double play squeeze bunt in the 9th. I just don't like the outcome of it. DET still has a one game lead heading into tonight's game, so they are alright. It looked like MN was playing for game one knowing game two would be to tough much of a knock down drag out duel. Mags was going to start yesterday, don't know why he didn't in game one. Him in or out of the starting line-up won't change things much. Mags is not having the same type of year he's had for the Tigers in the past this season and as such has been forced to the pine, had he been more productive, he'd have been given more at bats.Comment -
