Tribe lineup just released, for those interested:
Brantley LF
Kipnis 2B
Cabrera SS
Swisher RF
Giambi DH
Reynolds 1B
Chisenhall 3B
Gomes C
Stubbs CF
Kazmir P
no Santana is the main thing, but no shock given day game following night game and also that Giambi has hit Colon pretty well in the past.

Hey BTF, I think we should jump back on HOU today against a weak lefty.
I spent two days breaking this down and it paid off a couple nights ago with fading CJ.
Just thought I would give a heads up. Of course I could be wrong.

morning, Shiva! Astros are definitely on my list of leans, although i am leaning toward FF more than full-game. i have been on them FF in the first two games of the series and it has worked out quite well for me. i have finished the day games and am moving on to the night games. will report back with Astros thoughts in a bit. BOL today pal.

You know I'm old school, but I think I really need to start expanding.
I see a lot of FF and RL I’m just set in my ways, but need to change.
Maybe I’ll give FF a shot tonight.
Thanks for Min!
Good luck

Well, i certainly can respect old-school. From my standpoint, FF and/or RL are good things to consider when i have bullpen concerns. For example, i have Tigers -1 RL (+106) rather than ML (-123). Some would say that -1 RL is dumb because 30% of baseball games end are one-run games. Well, if Tigers lose, i'll save .23u right there. Also, Tigers have a shitty pen, so they simply don't play many close games (in fact, of 18 Tiger wins, only 3 were by 1 run; and of Nats 15 losses, only 2 have been by 1 run). With teams like Cubs, Brewers and even Cards, their pens are so bad right now that i think that FF is the only way to back them.
Another thing that i like: similar to totals on whole numbers, FF MLs and -1 RLs both offer the chance of a push (-1' RL obviously does not). I used to get very frustrated with pushes, but I have grown to embrace them, particularly when I'm paying juice (as with Rockies FF ML last night).
Next step for me is focusing more on team totals and perhaps R+H+E bets.

Thanks, man. Totally agree about Francona. I don't have any first-hand knowledge (of course) but the rumor is that the only reason that we were able to get Francona is because he is going through an ugly divorce, so he wanted to get out of Boston/Bristol/New England in general. Whatever the reason, we should be kissing Tito's feet in gratitude for signing here. He instantly made the organization credible, and there's no reason to think that we get Swisher, Bourn, Giambino and maybe even Reynolds without Francona. And while there were some misses in there too (Myers), Bourn has been out and Giambi isn't exactly playing a major role, the key was completely changing the clubhouse dynamic (which Giambi and Bourn can help with even when they're not playing). We actually have a MLB team right now.
I have a feeling that there is going to be a great story later this year about how working with Giambi (as well as Swisher, Francona and others) really helped Carlos Santana at the plate this season.

Well, speak of the devil: Kipnis in the post-game interview talking about how much working with and talking about hitting with Giambino helps everyone, how all the young guys go to him to talk hitting. Love it.

I'm sure he doesn't mind being out of the Boston media spotlight either. He gets to focus on what he loves doing in a more relaxed environment. Regardless of how it happened, as you said it's going to be a lot more fun to be an Indians fan going forward.

I sure hope so. This town is desperate to fall in love with a team and I like the Tribe's direction. Night and day difference from the second half of last season.

In a nice groove Biff. Keep it going brother!
If my Dawgs can survive first 4 games (Clemson. S Carolina, N Texas & LSU) I'm calling your Buckeyes v my Dawgs in '14 title game. Meyer v Richt. Miller v Murray. One these two may win Heisman. I'm always thinking college football.

Thanks! hahaha, funny you should mention college football and UGA, I was just listening to Bill King answer a caller who asked him to break down Clemson/UGA and thought to myself "i love the fact that college football always feels topical." I will say this: I would happily settle right now for the scenario that you describe.

remember, fellas, the apostrophe is the hook, so Tribe TT over 3' is Tribe TT over 3.5 or 3 1/2. this is how the pros do it, or so i hear.
okay let's get back at em today. planning to take tomorrow off for Mothers Day so today will be the last day of the week. starting is important but finishing is essential.

As a Tribe fan, i'm naturally inclined to dislike the Yanks, but if you don't like Mariano Rivera, you don't like baseball.
