#772Hey guys, I want to let everyone know that I'm going to take some time off from SBR. I've been posting and reading a lot more than I need to and I need to take a break from baseball for a while. Good luck on everyone's picks and I'll see y'all when I get back.

#773PLU you are the best. You have run a classy thread...no drama...no childish excuses. Frankly, I'm not ever sure what the motivations cappers have to maintain a thread and generously provide value to forum members, but I am grateful to you and others here for making this thread stop something I look forward to reading every day.
What ever your decision, I respectfully accept and have nothing but gratefulness for your shared efforts with us.
TY and BOL always. Hope you come back when you have caught up with much needed rest.
BOL everyone.Comment -

#776agree with jinx, catchn, and r2d2. SBR just lost the only reason I come to the forum and the best baseball capper on the net. I'm done with bases until Pluthero gets back. Good luck Plu and hope you have a good break and recharge your battery. You are the best.Comment -

#778Heh, we're on the same page even with our non-plays. On Friday, I cashed out one of my accounts and decided to take some time off. Going to go see a few movies, go out with friends [and not spend half of the night checking scores], and let my brain relax. Over 300 plays in the month of May alone left me mentally exhausted.
Enjoy the downtime, Plut. See you post-vacation.Comment -

#782I hope Plut gets the itch to return soon...
Does anyone else feel lost with their plays?
I don't blindly tail anyone... But it was nice to be able to come here and see what Pluthero had, and compare it to my sheet...
He also typically had more plays than I did, so it was nice to add in some of his bigger unit plays sometimes when those games were absent from my sheet and I felt they had value...
I just feel so lost with my analysis'. I have nothing to compare to!!!Comment -

#784He probably is doing what I am. Looking at the card, picking teams, not betting them, then watching them win. I was drooling over the Phillies last night, but told myself "NO BETS ON VACATION".
Hope ya come back soon, Plut!Comment -

#789Baltimore and Washington look good tonight.
Nats with their 1st walkoff win last night. On a team that talented, all they've really needed was a jolt of momentum. They got it last night, and I expect them to go on a bit of a run.
Orioles are getting a reasonable price today. Garcia has a WHIP under 1.00 in his last 3, while Keuchel is working 1.525 WHIP. Plus, I expect the O's to take 2 of 3, if not sweep the Astros during this series.Comment -

Tigers do look good but I'm not laying that much chalk... Rather the Over for a small play.
As of right now:
.25U Tigers/Rays OVER 8.5
Mariners
Phillies
Rangers
*Athletics
I put a * because I'm not sold on it yet... Yes the Wht Sox had a marathon last night. Their bullpen has been overworked like an AC hooker, but I HATE when the board is all over them and they're all over them because the Sox walked away with that win last night when they never deserved it. Call me superstitious but it's a spot where they could somehow ride the wave... I see the line at Oak -130 right now and depending on its movement will fully depend on my play. Have all day to watch the line
Oh and just a note. I'm not trying, by any means, to take over this thread. I like the discussion in Plut's absence and have no problem sharing my leans. Upon Plut's return you will NOT see my plays posted here.Comment -

#795Obviously, I was a sucker to back Freddy Garcia on the Money Line when I could have gotten a much better price on O's team total. Nationals... well, they SHOULD be able to beat Marcum tonight, however I'm not sure if I'm going to bother with this team much for the rest of the year. They are drastically overvalued at this point.
Tonight, I like the Rangers. I jumped on it early when I saw it at +135, but the line had dropped to +131 before I locked in my bet. Lester has been shelled by the Rangers in recent years, especially Nelson Cruz [1.624 career OPS v. Lester]. Not to mention Lester has been far more dominant on the road than at Fenway. Holland has handled the Sox pretty soundly in the past, sporting a 5-1 record, 2.41 ERA, and a WHIP of 0.95.
I also jumped on the D-Backs last night, but that was at +170. Currently, they sit at +150, so I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting to fade Miller in STL [0.79 ERA, 0.70 WHIP @ home].
Other Leans: Oakland, Atlanta, Tampa Bay [No logic, just my gut], BAL/HOU FF U4.5Comment -

Currently sitting at -.12 units for the day, as I took a stab at the Rays +1.5 & TT O3.5. Figures though, my gut bets seem to suck. My logical bets do far better, such as the O's dominating a team that now has only 50 runs in 16 day games. Oh well, onto the evening card, guys!Comment -
