An easy victory for the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 6 against the Denver Nuggets extended the series, and we're diving into our top Timberwolves vs. Nuggets player props based on the best NBA odds.

The Minnesota Timberwolves avoided elimination with a dominant 115-70 victory over the Denver Nuggets, forcing a crucial Game 7 at Ball Arena in Denver on Sunday. Tipoff for the critical game is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Nuggets are 5.5-point favorites on their home court and remain strong contenders with the second-shortest NBA championship odds.

For Minnesota to secure another must-win victory, Anthony Edwards will need to continue his exceptional play and bolster his NBA Finals MVP odds.

In addition to our Pacers vs. Knicks player props, here are our best Timberwolves vs. Nuggets player props and NBA picks (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Timberwolves vs. Nuggets prop bet predictions for Sunday

Anthony Edwards Over 28.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Minnesota maintains a rich history of producing superstars that never win a championship for the Twin Cities. From Rod Carew to Randy Moss to Kevin Garnett, none of them took home a title to Minneapolis. Can Edwards change that?

Win or lose in Game 7, the Timberwolves' young star has sent a statement to the rest of the NBA: He's the next unstoppable guard in the Association. The Nuggets haven't been able to slow Edwards, as he's averaging 29.7 in the series. He's scored at least 29 in 10 of his last 16 playoff games.

With the season on the line, I expect his usage to be through the roof with more than 40 minutes on the court and at least 20 shots. These odds imply a 50.49% probability he hits the Over, according to our odds calculator, with a $10 bet paying out $19.80.

Edwards' point total has fluctuated at some of our best sportsbooks, dipping to 27.5 at one point. However, as of Sunday afternoon it's generally back to 28.5.

Nikola Jokic Over 2.5 steals + blocks ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Growing up on the playgrounds of Sombor, Serbia must have been hell. Imagine showing up to the local basketball court hoping to have some fun and then playing Nikola Jokic and his two grizzly bear-sized brothers. No wonder Jokic has no trouble bullying ball-handlers and tangling with big men who try to back him down.

While Jokic is by no means a Defensive Player of the Year candidate, he can be disruptive on that end. He's averaging 1.8 steals and one block per game in this series against Minnesota, and a quieter Game 6 has these odds longer than they've been for most of the series.

He's topped 2.5 steals and blocks in four of six games and had been averaging 3.4 prior to Game 6. These odds imply a 57.45% probability he hits the Over with a $10 bet cashing a $7.41 profit.

Jamal Murray Under 30.5 points + rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Maybe Jamal Murray finds redemption in Game 7, or maybe he takes inspiration from Bob Knight and throws a chair on the court this time. No matter what happens, I have a hard time seeing him finally put it together against this suffocating Timberwolves defense.

Murray is coming off a 10-point performance in Game 6 in which he shot just 22.2% from the floor and went 2-for-7 from three. He's been a mess while averaging just 24.7 combined points, rebounds, and assists. In six games, he's gone Over 30.5 only twice while shooting just 33.3% from deep.

With Minnesota's defense ranking first in points allowed this season, I'm surprised these odds aren't shorter. The price implies a probability of 52.38% that Murray will hit the Under, and a $10 bet on this prop pays out $19.09 on a winning ticket.
