Magic vs. Cavaliers prop bet predictions for Saturday

Darius Garland Over 17.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Donovan Mitchell's nickname likely brings thoughts of an arachnid-themed superhero, but reference to the Dark Knight may make more sense given he has the perfect Robin in Darius Garland. Garland has embraced the role of No. 2 scorer for Cleveland and rewarded the team with his third straight season averaging at least 18 points.

While Mitchell has a tougher matchup against this Magic defense, Garland should be capable of making a difference against a unit that has struggled with scoring point guards in his mold. The Magic allow the fourth-most points in the NBA to point guards (25.9), and Garland closed the season averaging 21.5 points over his final four games.

This same prop is as short as -115 at our other best sportsbooks, which implies a 53.49% probability he hits the Over, according to our odds calculator. But these even-money odds from DraftKings will win $10 on a $10 bet.

Evan Mobley Under 14.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

Unlike Garland, Evan Mobley has one of the more challenging matchups of the entire first round of the NBA playoffs. While the 22-year-old has shown plenty of promise through his first three seasons, sometimes it looks like USC didn't quite prepare him for how difficult it is to score. (Bronny James can surely relate.)

Despite averaging 15.7 points this season, Mobley scored less than 15 points in 50% of his games and ended the season scoring fewer than 15 in four of his last five while averaging just 13.2 points. Now he's gotta deal with an Orlando defense that ranks second in the NBA in defensive rating and holds power forwards to the third-fewest points per game in the Association?

No wonder this prop is -133 at our other best sportsbooks. Those odds imply a 57.08% probability Mobley hits the Under, and our odds via DraftKings pay out $18.33 on a $10 bet.

Franz Wagner Over 27.5 points + rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A Michigan Wolverine sonning a team from Ohio? That's something the whole country is used to at this point, and Franz Wagner is poised to join in on the fun.

Even with the sixth-rated defense in the NBA (112.7), the Cavs have really struggled with talented wings this season. Cleveland gives up the eighth-most points (22.11) and the sixth-most rebounds (7.82) to opposing small forwards entering Saturday's matchup.

Wagner is second on Orlando in scoring (19.7) and assists (3.7) and third in rebounds (5.4). His well-rounded game and size advantage at the three (6-foot-10) has helped him average 30 combined points, assists, and rebounds over his last five games.

FanDuel is offering this prop at -113, which returns $18.85 on a $10 bet if Wagner hits the Over. Meanwhile, our other best sportsbooks have it as short as -123, implying a 55.16% probability he comes through on it.

Best odds: -113 via FanDuel
