    Odesnik banned

15 years, so basically for life. A second doping violation.

He doesn't. He just revels in the opportunity to scapegoat some irrelevant scrub so that he may carry on.

Good riddance indeed. The guy retires every time he is losing.

    You sir, are a liar!

He would never retire if he has placed a wager with a non-void bookmaker...

Andy Murray did it the same against Troicki and maybe Cilic too. Trying to look more sportsman to the public I think, but he is 99% a liar if he says I never touched performance enhancers.

In reality Doping Control is a shit

Doping exists in most of the strength-endurance requiring sports (maybe except snooker and curling). Since you prefer snooker i am mentioning. Everyone makes it. Without it, success is like a miracle for example in athletics. The unlucky athletes, the stupid ones, the ones without support of good labs, and also the chosen ones who are decided to prove that doping control exists are the ones caught as the scapegoats

Yesterday Alexander Pier, paired with Russell was on doubles in Challenger Irving. Pier is 55 years old, so there can still be some gas left in Odesnik

Given the pay discrepancies between challenger and atp prize money, Wayne imo from an economic perspective made a rational decision to dope

Murray has been vocal about finding the right anti-doping rules
along the years. He's like the players' spokesman. I think he got them
to drop the rule that the anti-doping committee must know each player's
location every day. When players violate the rules such as Odesnik, it
makes it tougher on everyone else to argue for less intrusive rules.

    What a spokesman !!!
    Voice of wisdom !!!
Doping had always been, and will always be.
    Andy uses, everyone uses.
All professional athletes that are top of their sports (sports based on high physical strength and endurance) use drugs, just the smart ones do not get caught. The doping tests are jokes, they can only screen for a small number of simple drugs, a good trainer will make sure you never get caught no matter how many tests they try.
There had always been an agreement between the athletes (or whoever represents the athletes), and the anti doping organizations.
The name of is this agreement is "you can do everything, and it will be legal, as long as you dont get caught"
All these new doping rules is a result of very dramatic things happened in the late 80's. The drug use was out of control
One of the first and but most famous scapegoat was Ben Johnson ,a Canadian like you. When in Seoul he made 9.79, it was really an unbelievable result. He was 5-6 meters ahead of the "great" Carl Lewis. One of the greatest American athlete of all times. Then Johnson failed the doping test and found use of steroids. The world's fastest man became, world's fastest cheater. Lewis became like a true hero and champion. What was so interesting about Seoul Olympics, Carl Lewis also failed 3 of the drug tests in Seoul and should be disqualified from olympics. The level of stimulants found were higher than the accepted values. But he defended himself saying he accidentally took them, some American politic manipulations occurred. The amount of stimulants found in Lewis was regarded as positive in 1988, but today it is regarded as negative. There had been done serious paper work to make the hero remain as an hero forever. Some of the defend had been based on that these kind of stimulant levels can happen even after some cold and allergy pills usage, etc..
There was one Canadian scapegoat who had been using the terrible steroids, why would they ban a true hero for some small amounts of stimulants.
    That was athletics...
As for the tennis , i advise you to watch some tennis games from 80's and compare with today's any ATP-WTA event. Compare the physical endurance and speed of the players. Do you think human being has evolved in 30 years just like the faster new technology racquets ???
Andy is mad at players like Odesnik who got caught, not because he is afraid of new rules like monitoring their locations, he is afraid of wider screen of drug tests may come...Oh yes, and if that happens, all players will be like handling the fire with bare hands..

No sense in doping especially on that level, do what many of the rest do and that is bet against yourself in some matches to lose, just make it look good, not that hard.
