    How Much is Wagered on Any Given Game?

    How much do you think is wagered (on both sides) of any given major sporting event at a well recognized A or A+ SBR rated book? When I say major sporting event I mean baseball, football, basketball etc.
    I'm open to educated guesses but I would love to hear from someone who actually knows the answer.

    To have a close to accurate number you would have to know the amount of active bettors at given site. Guessing that for football, basketball it's much higher than baseball. For football NFL especially I would guess between $5-10 million on bigger games and atleast 1-2 for most

    Damn 5-10 million! I was thinking more like 1 million on bigger market games and maybe 50k on smaller market games. I really have no idea I am just guessing here. Trying to get a sense for how much money books rake in from juice day to day...

    hard to say

    NFL a lot

    Then goes down a lot for NBA, lower for ncaab and even lower for NHL

    MLB average but less than nba
