How do I create a bitcoin wallet to receive prizes from SBR?

I had one about 2 years ago but that account was hacked and I had to close that bank account. So I guess that I need to start totally again.

Should I start with blockchain? Do I need anything else?

Electrum is the easiest. Straight from SBR to Electrum then Electrum to any book.

Is Coinbase pretty much dead around here? I've had long delays with them but like the user interface.

There are a lot of posters who know the ins/outs of bitcoin transactions but Opti has a really good handle on it and showed me the ropes.
He is a moderator floating around here. If you PM him he'll probabaly send you to a thread with everything you wanted to know about the topic.

Gtfo, You didn’t need any information on this. Basically a bragging thread, in that case congrats on a great week.

Tough to tell if you got any answer yet.

But yes, just go to www.blockchain.com/wallet a create yourself a new wallet. Only takes 30 seconds.

If you plan to just deposit it into a book, that is all you will need.

    I choose ELectrum too.

But not everyone wants a desktop wallet.

And people like PO69 who are not too interested in Bitcoin probably do not want a wallet that has so many options and the non-intuitive setup that is required.

I setup Electrum about 1.5 years ago on your suggestion. I also have Blockchain. I found Electrum very easy to use for simply going from SBR to Electrum and then to the book of my choice. I am more comfortable as well having my BTC more securely stored on my Desktop.
