[QUOTE=tshafer117;14431632]Sounds like you went on tilt and lost all your money and now want it back. Doesn't work that way. Why would you lose so much only after playing a little amount? Easy, you started chasing that 70 dollars you lost. What a degenerate, and I only know your one, cause I am.[/QUOafter

Speak only for yourself.....no way I chase $70 with $7800.00 in a poker game or on any bet for that matter. if it was me I would not complain 1 bit bc that is the risk u take when u gamble. I have lost large wagers plenty of times in the past and it is what it is. This money was transferred from my sports book account and into poker, that is all I know. If they look at my poker history they would see I play very little, maybe 50-150 max at 1 time and maybe only 3 or 4 times a month. Sportsbook is my thing and I would have probably ended up losing it eventually in the sportsbook but I won that money and I would have liked to have been the one who actually lost it.

You all have a right to your own opinions......this was not me. I don't care what anyone else thinks. Instead of tearing through $7800 all at once online I would have took another 2200 and signed up for wsop....wait until u hear all the facts b4 u make up your mind......they will be released soon enough....is it really hard to believe that someone else could have hacked another account?

The only way you got hacked I believe is if the website just stole your money which would indicate why they won't show the hand history because they are developing there own hand history for you. Either way, your screwed. Nothing SBR can do if the book lies to them. When SBR asks them for the IP address, don't you think that website is going to say it was yours?? Of course they will if they stole your money.

They originally told myself and sbrlou that this was done using the ip I use most of the time and it was done from my home. After that they sent me an email with the ip used. It was not mine nor was it located in the state I live in. That right there should have been a red flag. 98% of the time i use the same 2 computers located in nc. The ip that showed up that night was not from nc. I asked Lou to do me a favor and compare the ip I use almost daily when I log into sbr to the 1 that betonline claimed was me. I forwarded that email to him so he could see what that ip was. I understand Lou and sbr can only do so much and I appreciate them working with me to at the very least get me the hand history and ip log. Betonline also told me only 1 ip was used that night on my poker account and if that was the case then that ip that showed up should have been mine not one in another state. I did play poker earlier that night but for no more than $70ish. My ip would have showed up during that log in. The ip that they claimed was mine is not in my state. I am aware I am very screwed in this situation but I will not let this go until I at least get the ip info and hand history. I do believe betonline should do a better job with this situation, like send me the information I have requested. Like I said we will see how this all plays out soon enough.....wait for all the facts b4 u make an opinion. More details coming soon.....

There are multiple ways to confirm factual claims. I have caught quite a few books in outright lies based on evidence from different sources. If a book starts manufacturing evidence, there are always problems, and almost always ways to find out who is in the right. I don't know all the details of this dispute, but give the investigation time to play out.

I am trying to be patient but it is tough.....I don't feel like betonline is really doing anything other than hoping I just go away. There are already holes in their stories and they will not release any of my requested info. I was very happy to get the 1 email back that I did with the ip info from the activity that night. When I saw that it was not my ip I thought to myself there is no way that can't make this right for me now. They went from saying this was me at my house to this was done in a different state but we have customers that do that to they are not at fault if my user and password is jeopardized. I asked them if my CC number gets stolen no matter how it gets stolen I am not responsible and how is this any different? They need to protect their customers and at least look further into these things rather than do whatever it is that they are doing now. Time will tell.....

Something similar to this happened to me at 5dimes. I had a balance of 18k and about 3 hrs later I logged in and had around $3. I got on live chat and they said I lost it in 15 minutes playing roulette in the casino. They told me it happened from my ip address and that's the way it goes, sometimes you lose.

I was horrified and upset and assured chat there had been a mistake, there was no way I lost 18k in 15 minutes on a game i have never played. Eventually they credited my account and had me change my password, but it still doesn't explain why they were saying it was from my IP address.

Just saying I believe the OP is probably telling the truth because I've seen this weird stuff happen.

It was the next day after their technicians looked into it. I still don't know what happened, they wouldn't tell me.

    I still use them. I probably shouldn't but I'm a degenerate.

Tshafer117=BULLSEYE!!! My thoughts exactly. His withdrawal request wasn't processed fast enough and he couldn't hold out anymore. He lost his big march madness win and now cant live with the fact that its one, so he's trying to scam the book. And he thinks because he connected to his neighbor's router they will never know it was him.

one more bit of info......i have not asked betonline for this money back i have simply asked them to investigate this so they would clearly see that something was not right and then have no choice but to give me my money back. If there was an obvious chip dump then they could recoup the funds that way. obviously i am complaining bc i want my money back but i have never once told betonline give me my money back. i am just trying to get the ip login info and the hand history so that i will get my money back. they even asked me last time i was talking to them what i wanted them to do. i told them i wanted them to investige the ip info, the hand history and freeze all money won from that poker session until this issue is resolved. they have seen this different ip address is from a different state and for some reason do not feel it is there problem.

Why would it take more than a couples days to grant this request? I've requested hands history a couple times in the past from various sites and didn't take long... Hell pokerstars (and maybe fulltilit as well?) had the ability to request hands through the software...

You shouldn't be running a poker site if you can't fulfill such a request in a timely manner...

betonline are crooks and i would never touch them.

so this is in no way accusing the op, however it is easily possible to use different ip addresses from different states (or countries) on your own computer. there are programs and online services that can do this (proxies, ghosting, etc) or simply using your cell phones internet will show a different state (i live in louisiana yet when i tether/hotspot on my desktop it shows up as my ip is tennessee.)

We reviewed the hand history data, and have forwarded it over to the player. BetOnline is also sending it to the player directly.

    • The player's balance was not disposed of in a single or few chip-dumps.
    • He played against eleven other players total for approximately three hours.
    • The average pot was $217.94 over 163 hands.

In closing, management corrected its initial statement that the player's IP address was the same as used the majority of the time on his account.

The play data itself is not consistent with other alleged hacking cases we've seen, but taking the player's word for him being in bed with his wife at the time, we would only be able to suggest taking a hard look at the security suggestions outlined in this newswire. BetOnline is not responsible for the balance.

This is enough reason to quit or find a new book. I would be floored!!!!

Does someone else have access to your account?

I also dealing with pay out issues from this book, but giving more time before I turn to SBR for help.

I don't understand why people even play at betonline. It's a garbage book to begin with. Not saying I side with the poster, cause it's all shady who knows... I'm just saying Betonline should never be a legit option... Especially if you are just sports betting.. Betislands, Rebate Wager, Bookmaker, Heritage, 5dimes even... If they all got shut down tomorrow I can see betonline being a possible option.

This is why I hate the fact that these sportsbooks know your password and make you repeat it everytime you contact them. There should be a better system to identify customers without them knowing your password. The password should be exclusive to the customer. Employees of the sportsbook or anyone listening to a phone conversation with a book can get the minimal info required to commit fraud. I believe this guy got robbed.

Whats not to like they have 10 cent baseball lines, they put their lines out early the day before the games, and i have been paid promptly several times. I'm not saying they are the best option out there but just stating that I have used them for a while now without any problems. I have a decent balance remaining there and if something shady happens to me I will be on here to tell the forum all about it.
