[England Premier] Swansea +0.5 [-113] The Swans have been rock solid at home in the Premier League with positive results in ten of their eleven matches this season, losing only to Man U. by a 1-0 linescore. They have worked a draw with Tottenham and defeated Arsenal, so the task of taking points from Chelsea today should not make them fearful. Chelsea for their part have done well on the road with a run of six straight matches where they have taken a share of the result or the full result with three wins and three draws. I think you throw in all of those factoids with the sexy match-up with Manchester United just four days away for Chelsea and I think they would probably be content with grinding out a draw today with that fixture being their main focus for the week.
[Africa Cup of Nations] Niger-Morocco Over 2.5 [-110] A match for pride only between two eliminated sides. Given that, motivation might be questionable but both sides will want to leave the competition on a high note with a win. Both sides have had their issues defensively, allowing at least two goals in each of their two previous group stage matches. Morocco has shown the more lethal offense with three goals scored, while Niger has put just one in. Even though little is on the line, I think the effort will be there and given both sides deficiencies defensively - goals should be found.
[Spain Copa Del Rey] Mirandes-Athletic Club Under 2.5 [-140] Chalky, but given the stingy nature of Athletic Club during this competition I think it's warranted. They have kept clean sheets in all six of their Copa Del Rey matches and have only notched more than a single goal offensively in two matches, both at home. On the road today against the surprise of the competition - Mirandes - Athletic Club surely will be looking to keep another clean sheet and perhaps slip in the all important away goal for the 1st leg. Mirandes have been remarkable, knocking out La Liga participants Villarreal, Racing Santander and Espanyol. Both home matches to open 1st legs saw totals finish at two with a 1-1 draw to Villarreal and a 2-0 win over Santander. Both teams have key clashes on the weekend in their respective leagues, so some rotation in the lineups would be expected.
Well at least Swansea wins. Athletic laying the smack down on Mirandes 2-0. Unlikely there isn't a third. Probably gonna live bet that one and try to win something back.
