    WSOP ME final 3 tables

Thomas Kearney Leads Heading into Day 7; Negreanu 9th in Chips
Thomas Kearney Leads Heading into Day 7
Day 6 of the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event is officially complete, and there is now only one more day of poker until the November Nine is determined.
There are now 27 players still in contention for the most prestigious prize in poker – the Main Event bracelet – and the $7,680,021 first-place prize that goes along with it.
Play was stopped once Andrew Moreno was eliminated in 28th place. There is 37:36 remaining in Level 30 (with blinds at 60,000/120,000 and a 15,000 ante).
The chip leader heading into Day 7 is Thomas Kearney, who bagged up 14,400,000. He gained a major boost when he knocked out two players simultaneously, and continued to build his stackthroughout the rest of the night. Just behind Kearney at the top of the leaderboard is Matt Guan. Guan started the day fifth in chips, but jumped into the lead during the first level. He stayed near the top throughout most of the day, and now has 14,230.
Kearney and Guan are followed by Erasmus Morfe (12,085,000), Joseph McKeehen (11,975,000), Mario Sequeira (11,865,000), David Stefanski (11,485,000), and Alexander Turyansky (10,785,000) as the only players above the 10 million-chip mark. Once the final table is reached, the average stack will be almost 21 million, so all players have a long way to go before reaching the November Nine.
Poker Hall of Famer Daniel Negreanu Sits 9th in Chips
Day 7 will also feature one of the most famous characters in poker. Six-time bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu is among the final 27. He returns Tuesday in 9th place with 8,495,000 in chips. It’s been 14 years since the Poker Hall of Famer has come this close to the Main Event final table. In 2001, he finished in 11th place. Negreanu has earned virtually every honor in poker, including winning the Main Event at WSOP-APAC and the High Roller event at WSOP-Europe. However, the Main Event final table has thus far eluded him.
Today also saw the elimination of the last woman standing. Kelly Minkin (pictured below) was the only female player to make it to Day 6. She started the day in the middle of the pack, in 37th out of 69 players. But with the help of an early double up, she built her stack and for a while stood within the top 10. Eventually, though, she bowed out in 29th place for $211,821.
The day started with 69 players. Play got off to a fast start, and there were 13 eliminations by thefirst break. Play continued at this pace up until dinner. By that time, the 69 players had been whittled down to 36. During the next level, though, play slowed considerably, and only five players were eliminated during the fourth level of the day. Then during the last level of the night, four more players were eliminated before play was halted.
Play resumes at noon on Tuesday, and the WSOP updates team will be here to bring you all the action from the tournament floor as the final 27 become the November Nine.
Kelly Minkin Finished in 29th Place

I know he catches some heat, but it would be good for poker if Negreanu won or even just made the final table. Too many NFHOYP's are on the final table these days.

You're right Dane. DNegs would be a perfect ambassador for the game right now. I can see his big head now, sitting before congress testifying what a skill game poker is and how he's proven it through his career.

Personally, I was pulling for Minkin to FT. Nothing would make me happier than her inspiring all the chicks sitting behind their men in cash games and sweating them in tourneys to take a seat themselves.

A lot of people think that but they were taken to Costa Rican court by previous UltimateBet cronie Russ Hamilton, who claimed in fact HE had designed the so called "AA Titty Twister" back in 87 and adapted it for online play after UBs launch. After years going back and forth through the CR sistema de justicia the high judge decided the only solution to Hamilton v. SBR Lou et al. was to split the rights, and ever since SBR uses the turn oesd+flush to differentiate, while Russ gets his original open ender

With Mr. Small Ball it's def a consideration, but I personally dismissed the J because I believe he check-(min?)raises flop there... as he'll know exactly what to do with that J depending on what Joe does *right there*.

Will def be interesting to find out.

And yeah... tx for taking the time to post the updates here, bud.

Daniel had to have AJ here, or maybe KJs/QJs. Daniel starts the hand with roughly 30 BBs... McKeehan is opening every hand when folded to so alot the suited broadway hands are in Daniel's range, still Daniel isn't 3betting light preflop ever unless he picked something up that McKeehan was superlight. McKeehan is experienced circuit grinder with a ton of circuit success so I doubt he is giving much away. Its still a perfect spot for Daniel to flop a pair and play the hand passively because of how aggro McKeehan has been. It lets McKeehan bluff and it also lets Daniel live another day if he is somehow beat. Its tough even play KJo out of position in this spot vrs an aggro player with a huge stack. You just never know for sure if you're good, even when you flop top pair. And even players like Daniel don't want to be wrong with the stakes this high. My money is on Daniel having AJ here, and even QQ wouldnt surprise me. If Daniel had a hand like AT or KT or QJo, then he made a mistake. The mistake isnt calling down McKeehan, the mistake is calling preflop out of position vrs a player you will never really know if you are good or not when you flop a pair. And with only 30 BBs, and the stakes ginormous... folding preflop is the right play. But I cant see Daniel making this mistake, Im giving him AJ here
