Someone once said, "It's good to get the bad beats outta your system" before going to play some real poker, and SBullshitR has certainly come through this past week in that regard......

As I head to Lauberge, today's SBullshitR bad beat will be fresh on my mind..... gotta love this hand (as much as watching a woman ride a donkey in Tijuana):

in today's a.m. trny just before the break, with 2k left in chips, I get KK under the gun, and shove (blinds 150/300 I think, maybe 200-400); get two callers, one donk with AJ, the other with God only knows, he plays so poorly....

as the short-about-to-be-fcked-in-the-azz stack, I sit back and watch the hilarity ensure..... donk with aj raises, is called by the other donk with jackshit.

turn: 9

with his awesome boat in hand, aj donk jams it, forcing donk with air outta hand.....

cards turn up, aj donk shits when he sees my kk...... MS. BLEWWWWW TO THE RESCUE: OBVIOUSLY, being doom switched for either 1) cashing out a target card this week and three or so pizza's in the past two weeks, 2) posting a nice press release pointing out the attributes of SBullshitR's wonderful "BlackJack" tourney, or 3) posting on this board about Tijuana and it's nightlife and certain people who look like they used to work in the Livestock Department of Boys Town (feel free to choose which option u think did the trick for the deluxe doom switch, or "4" for all of the above), the river is dealt:

(now here, I'm fully expecting the ace, which is SBullshitR's obvious choice --in fact, in ordinary doom switched play, there is a 98.68 percent chance an ace is coming..... but when you've been doom switch deluxed, they want to really laff their asses off at the beat they put down on you -- and believe me, this one had me laffin right along with em)..... okay, to the river:

around texas, l'auberge in lake charles, isle of capri in lake charles; harrah's in new orleans, choctaw and winstar in oklahoma. As I live in htown, lake charles is the closest/easiest and thus the usual destinations. the others are only visited during circuit events or special trny events.

vegas, rio obviously around end of may thru beginning of july, play alot of daily deep stack trnys during wsop; veneitian daily trny is the ticket in non-wsop times.... cash games whereever I may be staying; from the palms, bally's, ceaser's, any of em will work.
