This topic pisses me off more than probably anything else in America. It's so stupid and antiquated. It would be like if prohibition on alcohol was still in effect but you could legally buy booze in Iowa, but no other states. Makes no sense. Wtf do we have to do to get these bs laws changed so sports betting is legal federally and in every state?? This is worth a crusade or a movement or whatever is necessary to get these laws changed. I'm sick of being discriminated against. I want to be able to bet on sports in any casino in America, not just the ones in Nevada.

It's easier for a smart/determined person or group to get around casino apps then it is getting around banking security measures (yet even banks are verifiably vulnerable).

Chances of the ones now doing it getting caught: probably < 10%. Chances that if caught they'll be prosecuted: < 5%. In remote chance they actually do get caught funds are confiscated: 100%... BUT, to these people, the reward far outweighs the risks.

Now, the spirit of OP's original question was, basically, "hey, is there something kinda simple I can do to trick the apps so I can bet outside Nevada?" The answer to that is... NO. You are correct about the USB port but you can have your wifi turned on and still place wagers.
