    Why isn't Pinnacle using Bitcoin?

I'm sure everyone in certain regions of the world would love to see that happen.

From the Pinnacle Sports website: "Bitcoin is not available as a funding option on our website and we do not have any plans on offering it."

It makes sense though. When your player base has Skrill, Neteller, bank transfer, credit card, e-Cheque, and a host of other country specific wallets and payment options at their fingertips, there isn't as much of a demand for bitcoin. It's the same reason Bet365, Ladbrokes, and other major international sportsbooks probably will not offer bitcoin for the foreseeable future.

    This is it!

BUT...I would sure love it if they did...and looking at history...its not a good sign for the future if your not willing to evolve and change with the times...

I think we would all agree they are losing out on millions by not accepting Bitcoin (regardless of where it comes from)...and I would argue that they as a business, should be motivated to maximize their opportunity!

Bitcoin has become popular for gamblers who have access to no better options. If it gets to a point where bitcoin is more attractive to a gambler than using an eWallet or debit card, then you will see international books flirt with bitcoin.

BTC not really necessary for non-USA facing books. Americans need it the most with just about all other options being fazed out.

Or open themselves to a customer base they can't otherwise access without the use of agents.

    They don't need to.
Using Bitcoin is a gamble; and they are big enough to not have to use that extra gamble.

Bitcoin could crash at any time. You never know. Only good thing about it is for gambling purposes. I don't think it will ever catch on with mainstream America. Most people I talk to don't even know what it is. People feel safer with banks.

Lol. Bitcoin is a tough grasp for most people over the age of 30. As the median birth year shifts to the right Bitcoin will only get more mainstream as it's an easy concept for kids. You think these kids who actually understand the technology who feel ripped off by their govt and rightfully so and want to hide their money won't figure out what Bitcoin is.

Gambling is like such a small percentage of Bitcoin trades. It's arrogant to think otherwise. Think smuggling drug money. Millions of dollars you can anonymously transfer every day. U think your fifty dollar bets are all its good for lol.

My point is the average working man with a family or any wealthy person will never use bitcoin. Do you think the average person wants to have their money converted to some sketchy cyber currency? They feel safe with money in the bank not some cyber wallet holding cyber money that could crash at any time. It's basically a currency for criminals and us gamblers. That's also why I think eventually the government will shut it down when they realize all the illegal stuff it's being used for. I hope that doesn't happen.
