Has anyone been to Delaware Park?

Living on the east coast all my life, never been to an actual sportsbook.

I know Delaware Park does NFL parleys, but is it worth a trip from CT just to legally bet?

    Any response is appreciated.

    It is only parlays

Nice racebook built in but why would you go?

It makes zero sense unless you want to get away for the day and see something different

Was there a few weeks ago. I'm 45 mins away & prob wouldn't travel there for just the sports betting. Made a day of it, played golf, went to casino & sports book. Did hit a nice 3 teamer that week.

geo washington bridge toll another reason not to go. unless you drive around it but more gas plus the jersey pike or garden state parkway annoying tolls will chew into your winnings. stay in ct and go to a bobby v's.

exactly how much is it to go over that geo washington bridge now. i'm sure it has affected the meadowlands on track handle and attendance as ct and ny patrons don't want to get hosed. as far as this guy wanting to go to delascare park to make legal nfl parlays without having any other reason to drive all the way there to do it seems prohibitive. just wanted to steer ct football and horse racing wagerers to bobby v's in windsor locks or stamford. no football wagering (just bring your i phone and bet online) but great viewing of all the games on huge tv's and legal otb horse race betting available.

take it you're still in between vehicles so driving to gambling for you is more difficult. some people just want to get away from the shrew or the kids or their mother's basement and go gambling to win real hard currency at a track, otb, or casino.

How much can a bridge toll be? a whole $5 or $10?? If you can't pay that, you shouldnt be going to a casino.

    GW bridge $14
    NJ Turnpike $12
    Delaware Bridge $4

Gas and tolls about $80 round trip. Just not worth the drive to play parlay cards. And that's not even factoring the traffic.

it's 14.00. and it's someone else wondering whether to go from ct-delaware park to bet nfl 3 team parlays. not advisable for a variety of reasons but excessive tolls and probably having to eat at a roy rogers makes staying local to gamble more sense.

Correct. They offer straight parlays with 3 team minimum. They also offer teaser cards, super teasers, and reverse teasers. Minimum bets are $2 and max is $100. NFL only I think.

It is why sportsbetting will never be big in NJ if if passed

Capped locations will make it expensive to get to

Money can be saved to gamble online instead
