Bad 3rd quarters ususally traslates into huge fourth quarters.
Now Friday's (tomorrow) are usually profit taking days, so expect volume and a down day, before the closing bell, would be a good time to get in, if you want in, I'm expecting a nice rebound the next two months.

p.s. Sprint is making a move upward after horrible returns latelty, that's a nice $4.60 stock, however they announced layoffs today.

He'll wait for the next correction, find a photo of some people crying on wall street and claim they're crisis actors.

The reason the markets have shrugged the brexit off is because all of the things the leave campaigners thought they would get by leaving will not happen even if they do leave.

If it happens, it will be largely symbolic.

And mathematically they are correct of course, but that doesn't mean Stock A is "cheap". Big mistake assuming that. Lots of things go into a stock being over or under-valued, far more than what most people just look at.

Then it drops to 50, then 40, then all the way to 20.

Problem is, you bought it at 60. Now your sure thing needs to go up by 300% for you to break even. Stock A had to close a bunch of stores and reposition its finances on a much smaller scale. Chances of you breaking even now are nil.

You may have gotten a couple right, but it just takes one of these to undo all of it.

The market loves it when the public think they're smarter than them and reacts accordingly. Freakin loves it.
Good point. I think a good example is valeant pharm. was trading for 263.00 less than a year ago. Now you can buy I think for under 30.00

And not if they're in a retirement account. And really.. it's not taxed anymore than my income taxes which is 28% anyway. Hit the brexit scare just right and unloaded everything I had on day 2 of the drop, was hoping it wouldn't be a 3 day downswing. It wasnt... brexit scare was stupid, just dumbasses selling for no reason and the smart ones buying up the good shit for when it bounces back... which it already has and then some.

I have know-it-all friends that rode the Twitter train all the way down to 15, and still think it's going back to 60. They never sold. They even did "dollar cost averaging" to where they bought more on the way down, which if you were to do that crap with any prop firm in America, you'd be fired on the spot, because firms realize how foolish it is.

Twitter is a good buy. I bought it a few months ago in the 14's. Still a buy at 18. It'll be 30 by the end of next year or bought ought over 30.

    I do not like Twitter

It has nothing..take away the celebs and sports it has no use for general public

Average person can care less what they say anymore because most is not from them but from publicist

It is only good for self promotion business

Yes my mom still has 300 shares but in her defense. She still has 200 shares of face book.My aunt had 1000 shares but when in went down back in the day she sold quickly. She is married to a structural engineer who has spent the last 6 years being an out cast in Malaysia so she is just happy to be home. But could you imagine if you short valeant pharm. after shkreli started that shit.

It might, but I never bought into ideas like this. Twitter has tens of thousands of dead bodies in the form of old investors that bailed and will never touch this stock again. It has to get over that obstacle, find new investors, and take a 50% increase. The entire market is up now, so Twitter is going with it, but it's not really due to anything the stock is doing. I'd just hope for a buyout.

For everyone's sake, I hope it goes to the moon. I'm just saying it's a lot harder road than some guy sitting back and saying "It's a $60 stock, it will be fine".
