    Bullfighter returns to ring after getting gored in the neck, immediately gets gored in the neck




    Gore me once, shame on you, gore me twice, I’m a terrible bullfighter and I need to reevaluate my life choices.

    Jiménez Fortes was gored in the neck by a bull back in May. The bull’s horns went into one side of Fortes’ neck, and then out the other.

    This was a serious injury, but not serious enough to keep Fortes from the ring. He returned to the ring this weekend, and was promptly gored in the neck once more.

    According to El Mundo, the extent of the injuries to the bullfighter is unknown.

    A lawyer, speaking on Jimenez's behalf, has said the goring was very strong, and has seriously affected the matador's tongue, his nose and the area behind his eyes, reaching as far as the base of his skull.
