British open- put your house on this play

The all star game was just fun and games boys. Money talks and I'll talk that talk with you for this play.

Rickie Fowler +135 over Jordan spieth FIRST ROUND.

Quick turn around for my boy spieth here, while Fowler has been busy over seas already winning tournaments. Spieth started slow at the John Deere last week and had to pick it up in the later rounds to just win in a playoff.

this is an absolute steal of a line. I know how this board likes to call out all the losers so let's see all the love after this winner.

Spieth knows he can't start out slow like John Deere. I expect a very nice first round out of him. I also think rose will be in contention come Sunday but good luck on your picks!

Sounds square to me. Too much going In fowlers favor and too much against spieth. This is the first round not the tournament. Spieth will play par golf and try and pick it up in the latter rounds as he gets accustomed

What makes you think Spieth will play par golf in the beginning lol? And yeah your right Spieth has nothing going for him just won last week and won the last 2 majors. I'm not saying fowler can't play better than him in round one, it's just you seem so confident when you shouldn't.

I'm absolutely confident. Spieth is my favorite player bar none, but there's absolutely no reason he's going to go out there day 1 after traveling from Illinois across the world to the British and put up a low score. Fowler has already been there, practicing, playing, winning. A lot of pressure on spieth as well with racking up all these tourney wins. Fowler has the day 1 advantage and a line of +135 is a joke. If you don't see the value I'm not sure what to tell ya

you act like this guy just skated 60 minutes plus 3 overtimes...the flight to the UK from here in chicago is about 7-8 hours give or take tailwind...

you act like the guy is in china golfing his life away

these guys eat steak while flying first class/private plane and sip a caviar/bud light combination...the guy probably slept 8 hours on the flight to scotland

this isnt the nfl..golf is one of the easiest travelling sports

    This may well win.
But to bet against the hottest player in the world with such certainty on the back of lame reasoning is just dumb.

As has been mentioned above, the guy is hardly flying economy, cramped in with the other passengers, waiting hours in departures and baggage claim.
No, he'll get straight onto the private jet, have a nice cooked meal and more than likely a sleep. Those things are like flying hotels. He will be as comfy as rickie is back on land in his hotel.

Plus he's hardly landing on the runway and straight to the first tee. The guy has been there practicing for a few days.

    The reasoning is just bogus.

Decent enough price, but I'm quite fond of my house, so no thanks.

This is a winner. Fatigue is just one of the angles. Rickie has never won a major but always seems to be in contention, he will be oneof the front runners after day 1. And I've taken that flight to the UK. Obviously not in his fashion but the time difference alone and jet lag is a bitch. Takes a couple days to get accustomed to it. The guy just finished playing at the john Deere, hopped a plane, and as soon as he landed was already on the course again trying to get a peak. That's not good news for a first round spieth bet. There's a reason a lot of golf experts wondered why the hell spieth still went thru with playing at the John Deere, for exactly that reason. Take it or don't, it's your money....but

you guys can rag on my MLB all star game plays all you want, which is laughable at best. I never told you to put big money on that trash, just thought it was a decent enough play to share. But with this I can promise you that if you put down a substantial amount on rickie first round you will get back an even more substantial amount come 10am eastern on Thursday. Bet

I just think he needed a bunch of more days in and around St. Andrews, you'll see his preparation issues if/when wind kicks up.

Yeah sure, so could spieth. Betting is all about angles. Everything clearly points to rickie having an advantage in the earlier rounds. Everyone in here trying to say otherwise is just foolish and purposely trying to go against the pick just because it's me who's putting my neck out there on it.

Lol you realize almost everyone but a handful of people are par or below on the front 9 right? Back 9 is where it gets tricky, and wind is picking up. Just saying, don't blow your load yet

Big birdie on 18 to save Jordan's back 9. -5 is a good score but definitely doable for Rickie today

Get 'em next time flipper. Let's move down in stakes and start betting pink slips. See if we can rebuild.
