Can You Imagine If Lebron Had Bird Or Magic Talent Around Him????

Both guys played with hall of famers their whole careers
Lebron with a bunch of college kids and all he does is go to NBA Finals

How about at least 10 NBA Titles with good players around him

Levron is one of the top 3 greatest players ever

what he's accomplishing without any supporting cast is amazing. If Love and Irving were healthy this team would roll over the warriors. Without Love and a banged up Kyrie, the Cavs win a close series

And not even his haters will be able to deny his supremacy

He is playing great but let's not forget this is the Eastern Conference. Getting to the NBA Finals is a fukking cakewalk. I mean this Atlanta team would not have gotten past the first round in the West. Zero chance.

Let's see what they do in the finals. They are probably a bit better than I gave them credit for much of the season. The x factor here is Tristan Thompson. I'm amazed at how well he's playing with the increased workload. I think Kevin Love is massively overrated but still figured his injury would hurt Cleveland as it would force Thompson from what I thought was his natural energy bench guy role into a starter's role. Didn't think he'd be as productive playing 40 minutes a game but I was wrong At this point they're better without Love. No doubt in my mind there.

Atlanta beat the shit out of the western conference in the refular season

I'd say Atlanta is the 5th best team in the NBA and would've beat any of the bottom 4 seeds in the west

Key words "in the regular season".

Have you watched any of the playoffs this year? Atlanta struggled mightily against the godawful Nets and were one fluky play away from going 3-2 down against the Wizards who played 3 games without John Wall. Now they finally face a decent team and are getting obliterated. In reality they've been exposed the entire playoffs as a very average team.

Also "any of the bottom 4 seeds in the West"? Does that include the Spurs? Because the Spurs would've swept the Hawks winning every game by at least 20. lol. But Dallas or Portland would've beaten them too for sure and New Orleans would've had an excellent chance.

I put LeBron right up their with MJ if he wins the finals with the Cavs. Dudes amazing. Jordan was the GOAT but he still needed Pippen.

I mean you have to give them credit for overachieving with the limited talent they have on their roster but there was no way this was sustainable in the postseason. Bulls/Cavs was the real ECF. It's possible the Wizards would've actually given Cleveland a better series but I guess we'll never know.

If he had...he would not be 2 for 5 in the finals...LOL.....I say the same thing about Pierce...and Garnett...when great players spend a significant portion of their careers playing with mediocre talent for a mediocre organization who have no idea how to build or acquire talent..the end result is usually what happens to guys Like Dirk, Lebron, Pierce..etc...both of which would have had more rings by now had they had Wade and Garnett/Allen sooner rather than later...

Lets also keep in mind..that Lebron has never been coached by a hall of fame caliber type coach...Lebron in his prime with A Phil Jackson, Larry Brown or Popovich would have been almost unfair to the rest of the league...

too bad 'trying hard' as a strategy doesn't work so well in the postseason.

    With what?

    His great shooting?

    His wonderful defense?

What did Magic do, other than an exciting fast break, that LBJ can't do?

magic controlled the game up and down the floor in every way possible. he could push the ball faster than anyone in the league today, hands down. the only reason you dont talk about his shooting is he didnt need it to look great. I'm not even going to get into defense. He went to the NBA finals almost every year he played. It took a fake HIV diagnosis to bring him down

    What are you referring to?

Atl has won two series this post season, I'd say they're doing more than trying hard. They beat a pretty solid Wizards team. No need to diminish ehat they've accomplished, they're not a bad team.

Lebron is simy so damn good he wills his team to victories.

LBJ detractors will focus on the East being down and yes, compared to the West they're obviously the weaker conference but James is beating good teams badically all by himself.

LeBron james is prolific.. not inly because of his 'personal' talent.
There has never been any player in ANY sport that has this effect on the people around him.
Regular guys, just start playing above their potential.. it's insane.

Like Dellavedova in Chicago Game 5.. that was insane.. like Shumpert.. Shump was not
a killer in NYC like he is in Cleveland..

    James is the best.

Magic played with the top scorer all-time. The very best Center to ever play.

    James is better than Magic.

If Cleveland wins the title this season, with this subpar team, and this mediocre-at-best coach, we are going to have to have a serious discussion about Lebron becoming the greatest player of all time.

The thought of the Cavaliers going from perennial lottery team, to the champs, is pretty incredible.

    agreed. excellent point.

    starting to get that feeling.

they killed the Hawks with Lebron and a bunch of kids.

but Lebron puts ideas in their heads.. like "we can do this"

"we're doing it now"... that shot to win Game 4 in Chicago is when it happened. Right there.

the Cavs have won every game since then.

    that shot was ULTRA-F*CKIN-SUPER-CLUTCH.

set team on fire. Now ALL OF THEM ARE CLUTCH.

The NBA is a horrible product.

you cant compare Lebron to MJ or Bird bc the NBA had much better talent back then. Look at these scrubs on Atlanta , back in Larry Birds day this Hawks team wouldnt have made the playoffs

Steph Curry is soft. Back in the day they would have bitch slapped his monkey ass

The NBA had more talent then? You are either joking or just plain stupid. The NBA's talent pool has increased 10 fold since the "good ole days". Back then every player was from the US now they choose players from the entire globe so by default your statements have to be dead wrong. Just because when you were a kid you thought every player was a star doesn't make it reality.
