Wow What a Week 1 So Far....

Patriots....Chiefs....New Orleans and Chicago all lose their season openers.

Patriots have not lost a season opener in 11 straight seasons by the way.

Last year favorites covered something like 52.2% of the time. This year looks like it will truly be the year of the Dog.

The Chiefs and the Bears losses especially surprising. Still 4 more games to go.Thinking I will only have 3-4 NFL bets a week and maybe a three or 4 team ML parlay (NCAA and NFL combined) and keep the variance relatively stable betting wise this season.

NCAA football is where the riches are to be had.

Patriots and Saints didn't have home field advantage, so their probably of losing was increased.
Chiefs are lacking in offense, Bears are lacking in defense.
49ers have basically home field advantage with all those 49ers fans cheering in Cowboys stadium.

Bucs better win. Can't believe I put the Bears in my 5 team ML parlay. I hit my three team spread parlay though.

Chiefs are going to miss the playoffs. Not surprising. They won with a new coach and energy on a last place schedule. Reid will be shown for what he is this year IMO. Easily could start 0-6 or 1-5.

Thank God the Chiefs still play in the same division as Oakland or they'd be bottomfeeders for sure.

Chiefs were decimated with injuries to their defense. Maybe Tennessee becomes this year's surprise team. Ken Whisenhunt wins wherever he goes.

Lions and Bears are never surprise teams. Both have a lot of fire power for years now.

Didnt see the spread yet but would definitely add them to a ML parlay.

    Vikings not for real.

Rams are Division II NFL team.
