Is there anyone who makes money with betting?

    How much do you make?
Do you bet on your own tips or buy it?

Sports betting is my main source of income and it also helps that in my country 1000$ per month is considered a very good income. Most of my profits come from live wagering on Football(aka Soccer) and Cricket.

Trading on Betfair is a boon for me.

Very few have the bankroll, knowledge and patience to do this for a living. There is a reason Vegas exists.

I have had thoughts of 'one day this could be my only income', but the problem is that a lot of winners (who are VeRY rare) don't continue to grow their bankrollt to a point where they can bet big enough. I used $5k last year to put down on a car, $10k to use as part of my down payment on my home, plus took money out for two vacations. The problem is that you cannot continue to increase your bet size if you are making withdrawals.

I bet high volume and generally hit a decent percentage, with only two losing months in my last 17 months of active betting, but I would need to continue to hit at my current trend, but my bet-size would have to be an average of $500 per unit to have an income of $150k per year.....and if I can't make more than that, no reason to quit my job.

That being said I am on pace to win $20k this year which will be roughly the same as last year.

15 straight years making a profit. Mostly betting props. Banned from every gazette book. Ah the good ole days betting box office weekends, parlaying nhl games with grand salami, the betmaker software glitch back in the mid 1990s. Not as easy these days, but props beatable on bovada and betonline.

How much does Bovada let you bet on Props?
