Anyone ever tried parlaying all of their bets with another game? Let's say for instance if you were going to bet $220 on a game, instead place two $110 bets on the side you think will win and parlay both of those bets with another game, betting both sides of the line.

This way if you hit the pick you were making anyway, instead of getting $200 on your $220 bet, you would make $290.91 if both lines you bet were -110. If you lose your pick, you still lose the same amount of money.

The only way I could see you getting screwed is if the second game lands exactly on the point spread. Because on one bet you would get your money back but you would lose the other bet. So in my example above you would lose $110.00. But you could avoid this by buying .5 point on the second game if the line is a whole number so that game can't end exactly on the spread.

Does not win u extra money if u bet both sides of a line it actually costs u 19$.

    example bears -110 to win (220 wins 200) 220+200=420

    bears-110 to win and over 44 -110 2 team parlay (110 wins 290.91) 110+290.91=400.91
Bears-110 to win and under 44-110 2 team parlay is a loser so ur left with 400.91 on ur 220 investment!

however when I have a strong play I do parlay it up with multiple plays that I was gonna bet strait up to try and increase winnings but betting both sides to make a winning parlay is not profitable as I showed u above. U get ur juice back when u win so that is added to ur overall win

This would be a good strategy when middling with basketball and football totals. If u catch an opening line at 44o/u and u get a lot of movement on the total and it moves up to 50.5o/u that may be a good time to try something like that cuz u can still hit both parlays if u catch the early total befor the line movement. This is still risky cuz ur hoping that total will move quite a bit for u to bet the other side. Basketball totals sometime fluctuate more then football totals though so u may have a shot there.

It's all good! Believe me I've done the same thing as u many times! Trying to figure out ways to maximize my profit with the same risk amount. It's a good thing to do, u will find strategies u like and then ones that don't work but its all part of the game. It's only gonna make u a better gambler! Bol!

I will sometimes parlay my bets with a large chalk moneyline to reduce the juice. Problem is if you lose chalk money line you lose all your bets

While parlays can be -EV in the long run (potentially), I disagree that they are for suckers.

I believe there are proper bets when starting to generate a bankroll, particularly straight bets and in accordance with your bankroll. But parlays can be nice for rolling over/rounding off straight bet winners. I use it all the time when I have a bankroll that I want to build on, obviously I'm not parlaying large amounts, I never parlay money I can't handle losing i.e. it's not scared money, just an example from the last few days:

I always say for bettors just getting started remember it's not about how much you want to win but what you can afford to lose when determining your roll.

    really a sucker play if it's a 14-6 parlay rather than a 13 to 5.
