Denver-8.5. Revenge game without ray and ed. I'm pretty sure anquan bolden went somewhere else which makes jacoby jones the best reciever on the team(4th option in houston.) The addition of welker and the games in Denver. I dont see how denver doesn't win by 14 or more. I also like detroit at -3. Atlanta ML, Carolina ML, Dallas -2.5
Denver should win that game big. I like Atl ML and Dal -2.5 also.

really?? week 1's best play is a -8.5 spread???? interesting stuff, i know balti has lost alot but i was feeling the + on that....i would say the play of the week is TB -2 vs jets can only see this going one way and i see it moving big if/when sanchez is named the starter, i think the line is what it is because the bookies not sure if geno will be the man or not....whoever is the man -2 seems juicy....all the best my manOriginally Posted by jazzyj7

Best of luck but I took the other side long ago. I think more than a touchdown is pretty good dog value for reigning SB champs week 1.
Yes, they lost Bolden, Ray and Reed. But they gained Huff, Daryl Smith, Dumerville, Canty, etc. Also, remember the Ravens are getting CB Lardarius Webb back from his season ending injury last year. WR is my only concern, I'm not sure Jacoby Jones can be a legit #2 WR opposite #1 WR Torrey Smith. Don't sleep on the Ravens this year, despite losing some key leadership players, they've absolutely reloaded the talent and retain most of the starters from the Super Bowl champion roster.

I like Broncos ML and Atlanta ML personally. Patriots ML weeks 1 and 2 may just be a gift. Don't be scared of juice in football.

Gotta think Denver smacks Baltimore. Pinny is all over Denver right now, offering Ravens +9.5 at -116 juice. All other books hangin Ravens +8 or +8.5.
How can no one think KC or Tampa be one of the best bets in week 1. Chiefs got a whole lot better and Jags won't win 5 games this year. Tampa also got several key upgrades while Jets you know will start Sanchez week 1, get blown out and make the change for week 2.
This data suggests taking DEN ML or DEN teasers. DEN probably wins, but it'll be very competitive.
Carolina+3.5 is the best play of week 1 and its not even close.

I'm teasing on Denver with the under ( the total has dropped from 49.5 to 48) on that game. Seattle will kill the panthers, also like Detroit ml, and cowboys -2.5( this will finally be the year that they beat the giants at the new stadium), and texans -3 and the under on texans and chargers game.
Denver will probably win but I seriously doubt whether they can win by more than a td, that's def a coin flip for me.
That Bengals defense is going to be haunting to say the least, I think Imma take my bengals straight up!
Disagree lots of talent coming back to tampa on offense and more focused running game... defense should be enough I think they cover with ease.

Sea-2.5 and tb-2.5 parlay and call it a day. damn that's a nice parlay..your basically betting AGAINST two very inconsistent qbs.. and on one side you have a great defensive team in Seattle and on the other side u have a team that's due for a good year the bucs! .
I feel like Ravens +8.5 is one of the better value plays on the board.
