Zach McAllister ran into a buzz saw (Rays - Moore) in his first start as Cleveland managed two hits last week in a 4-0 loss, I'll give him a pass.
McAllister gave up two earned, had one brain fart in the fourth inning that game, other wise sharp.
Also not his fault Aviles couldn't field a ground ball that game.
I always, and still like McAllister's stuff, and I expect him to shut down the Yankee make shift line up.
I also like the fact New York hasn't really seen him, well, 2 for 14 isn't enough of a cross reference.
More importantly, that overrated gas can Phil Hughes starts for New York.
You guys know my position on Phil Hughes by now.
Hughes's first start was awful, Tigers lit Phil up for 3 earned runs and 8 hits in just four innings pitched.
I expect the carnage to continue tonight, with Cleveland's top of the order doing damage (Bourne, and As-Cab)
Even the backup starting catcher tonight (Yan Gomez) is 2 for 5 against Hughes.
Cleveland takes this home game tonight.
Cleveland -105 is my play.
For you prop bet players, you might want to look at YES run scored in first inning at even money, as Bourne and As-Cab has success against this Yankee gas can.
The prop bet is a suggestion, the Cleveland m/l -105 is the play.
