With the much-anticipated return of former WWE and UFC championBrock Lesnar, wrestling fans and members of the Internet wrestling community are speculating on the specifics of his contract with the WWE.
Now, new details of Brock Lesnar's contract have emerged, and judging from the terms, they look to be in Lesnar's favor. Mike Johnson ofPWInsider has the details:
Sources speaking to PWInsider.com state that Lesnar has signed for a minimum two appearances a month over the next year, plus an additional number of appearances during the build to the Mania PPV and obviously, Mania 29 itself.
The belief is that Lesnar will make in the area of 30-35 appearances over the next year, although WWE would have the ability to negotiate additional appearances with him above and beyond that - if Lesnar is willing to make them.
The report opines that The Rock needs to challenge someone for the WWE title, and alludes to a possible Lesnar-Rock feud.
The WWE title may be put on Lesnar in the next year to set up a potential title match between Rock and Lesnar.
If The Rock and Brock Lesnar meet in the ring, it most likely will be at SummerSlam. It would be billed as the "Rematch of the Decade," and The Rock would want some retribution for his loss against Lesnar in 2002.
Wrestling fans as a whole are excited to see Lesnar back in the WWE, and hopefully his return will not be cast aside as another flash in the pan.
