I don't get why so many people here think the 49ers will cover the spread


this team has been blown out in nearly every road game this year (by 25 to the seahawks, by 21 to the chiefs, by 18 to the packers, even lost by 21 at home to tampa bay)

this team has really shown no ability to matchup against good teams consistently this season and they face a chargers team that is a buzzsaw against bad teams at home (they are 4-1 ATS vs teams who were under .500 heading into the game)


this game SCREAMS of a 28-10 type beatdown by the Chargers

The same reason why they are on national TV in Week 15, and so many other times this season, when they haven't had a winning season in more than a decade. They are a national team, and the media and NFL wants them to win badly.
