I'm not in Henderson, but I live near the strip. Henderson isn't bad. Check out "the district" around Green Valley Ranch. It's full of bars, restaurants and shopping... and of course the casino.

Personally, I like being close to the strip, but if you're either working in Henderson or want to own a house as opposed to renting an apartment then Henderson is your best bet.

    GL with the move.

My cousin lives there. Be wary of where you reside, some nice spots some not so much.
    He likes it!

Thanks man.. ya I'll be working in Henderson so planning on living there or basically right next to the strip. Any other places similar to Veer Towers?

Only other option is to move into a buddy's house that's 15-20 min West of the Strip but would be cheapest option no doubt.

Like Veer? No, but there are plenty of highrises around the strip of varying levels of affordability. BTW, Veer kind of sucks. It's expensive and if you live in the southern tower the wind causes the outer architecture of the building to rattle very loudly.

If you're working in Henderson then that's probably the best place to live, but I'm very happy with my highrise 2.5 miles east of the strip.
