Simple logic for MNF - Bears @ Jets

I give you simple logic on why you should take the Jets:

Why you should take the Jets:
    - Jets are at home.
    - Jets for the most part beat up a Raiders team that is bad, but did take the Patriots to the limit.
    - Jets front four are BRUTAL, and they beat the crap out of Aaron Rodgers for the first half in Lambo Field.
    - Jay Cutler gets frustrated and makes mistakes when he gets hit or knocked down, and trust me, he will get hit and knocked down.
    - Bears lost to the offensively inept Bills, at home.
    - Bears looked absolutely awful in the first half against the 49ers, and only won because the 49ers have proven they are awful in the second half. The 49ers have been outscored 49-3 in the second half in it's first 3 games.

My biggest reasons for taking the Jets:
    - Marshall and Jeffery are both less than 100 percent. Marshall has been out of practice and was limited last week by a balky ankle, while Jeffery has been hampered by a nagging hamstring.
    - The Jets have the #1 rushing defense, the Bears are 30th in the run game.
    - The Jets are #1 in running the ball, the Bears are 31st.

Despite EVERYTHING I mentioned, 85% of the public is on the Bears ML, and 75% is on the Bears ATS. The line opened at Jets -1, shot up at some places to Jets -3, and is now sitting around -2.

My only concern would be if the Jets beat themselves with turnovers. Every game has a risk, but I feel confident with the Jets.

My book has Jets down to -1 from -3 yesterday. They want you to bet the Bears, and everyone is getting sucked in it seems.

    Very possible

but to sum it up, its: Jets (#1 run who is also #1 in defending the run) against Bears who are on the road (#30 in running and #31 defending the run) with the public behind on them on a MNF game

I realize this is a small sample size with both teams only playing 2 games, but the variance between the 2 cannot be overlooked

    Jets or nothing

    Spedizzo's Final Thoughts:
Jets secondary is sketchy, but their defensive line should be enough of a force to pressure Cutler into making mistakes (which he is more than capable of doing). With the Bears offensive line being awful, and having absolutely no run game, being on the road in this spot can be a disaster for them.

The 49ers proved this, battering Cutler in the first half of their game. The 49ers defensive line is not the defensive line you are used to in previous years. This Jets defensive line is way better.

Yes, the Jets can be the Jets, and that is about the only way I can reasonably see this game being lost. It is a risk worth taking all variables considered.

    Thank you, and good luck.

Cutler + healthy wide receivers = too good.

    Cutler + 70% Marshall 75% Jeffrey = disaster

    Those receivers are banged up

Cutler is probably the most overrated Quarterback of the last few years

What has he done? Besides play for an offense that has freakishly big or fast receivers, receive concussions, and have an annoying twitch

Defensive secondary is as good as your D-line.

The Raiders played the Patriots tough

The Jets beat the Raiders handily until they got silly at the end

No, this isn't very relevant to tonight's game, but I brought it up anyway

Who is the Jets "Go To RB"?

Would like to take the Over Rushing yards for Johnson or Ivory, but not sure who I would lean...

    Thought?

it is almost impossible to say, they will prob see about a even number of carries, or close at least..hell against bears run defense take them both, split at worst with decent chance cj breaks a long one and ivory hammers the bears into submission...
