I give you simple logic on why you should take the Jets:
Why you should take the Jets:
- Jets are at home.
- Jets for the most part beat up a Raiders team that is bad, but did take the Patriots to the limit.
- Jets front four are BRUTAL, and they beat the crap out of Aaron Rodgers for the first half in Lambo Field.
- Jay Cutler gets frustrated and makes mistakes when he gets hit or knocked down, and trust me, he will get hit and knocked down.
- Bears lost to the offensively inept Bills, at home.
- Bears looked absolutely awful in the first half against the 49ers, and only won because the 49ers have proven they are awful in the second half. The 49ers have been outscored 49-3 in the second half in it's first 3 games.
My biggest reasons for taking the Jets:
- Marshall and Jeffery are both less than 100 percent. Marshall has been out of practice and was limited last week by a balky ankle, while Jeffery has been hampered by a nagging hamstring.
- The Jets have the #1 rushing defense, the Bears are 30th in the run game.
- The Jets are #1 in running the ball, the Bears are 31st.
Despite EVERYTHING I mentioned, 85% of the public is on the Bears ML, and 75% is on the Bears ATS. The line opened at Jets -1, shot up at some places to Jets -3, and is now sitting around -2.
My only concern would be if the Jets beat themselves with turnovers. Every game has a risk, but I feel confident with the Jets.
