    Week 1 Pre-Season, BUCS PK!!!!

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers PK

Call me a homer but I just don't see Jax winning this game, Tampa has a lot of depth.

Glennon already has half a season of NFL experience (considering last years situation, he had pretty good stats), Bucs running game is completely stacked down to the #5 RB. They will also have veteran WRs and TEs out there with Murphy, Myers and Hawkins.

I will be surprised if the 1st string Jax offense puts up any points against TB first team D.

    QB: Josh McCown
    Mike Glennon
    Mike Kafka
    Alex Tanney
    RB: Doug Martin
    Mike James
    Charles Sims - r
    Bobby Rainey
    Michael Smith
    Jeff Demps
    GLRB: Doug Martin
    TDRB: Doug Martin
    FB: Lonnie Pryor
    WR1: Vincent Jackson
    WR2: Mike Evans - r
    WR3: Chris Owusu
    WR4: Tommy Streeter
    Louis Murphy
    Russell Shepard
    Robert Herron - r
    Lavelle Hawkins
    Skye Dawson
    Aaron Burks - r
    Solomon Patton - r
    David Gettis
    TE: Austin Seferian-Jenkins - r
    Tim Wright
    Brandon Myers
    Luke Stocker
    Kyle Adams
    K: Connor Barth

I will never wager on a team coached by Lovie Smith. The guy is a complete idiot.

    81-63
    1 NFC Championship

I would take that over 75% of the coach's in the NFL.

    Plus Leslie Frazier DC

Must be some hurt feelings somewhere in the past with you and Smith.

I like this play, am using in a couple of teasers since line is +1. Lovie had a good ATS record his last couple of preseasons with the Bears and will want to start off well with new team.

Yes over a decade of "hurt feelings" as I am a Bears fan. Smith was a lying brown noser (no pun intended) who only lasted as long as he did in Chicago because old lady Halas (Virginia Mccasky), who owns the team, was totally enamored with him.

Given the talent Smith had to work with his record is very underwhelming. A better indicator of his coaching ability would be his career ATS record which is below .500.

Lovie Smith and Leslie Frazier are both text book examples of the Peter Principle; a management theory that individuals are often promoted to their level of incompetence based upon their performances in former positions.

Smith and Frazier were good Defensive Coordinators and as a result were promoted into positions beyond their talent level i.e. Head Coach. Frazier's record validates the theory. Smith's less so but the argument can be made.

Just food for thought, more for the long haul of the regular season not the meaningless preseason.

Best wishes to you on your pick.

Still have a hard on for "Lovie"? ATLANTA 35 TAMPA BAY 0 in first half.

What an overrated affirmative action piece of shit "Lovie" Smith is. He should be barred from the NFL on the basis of his first name alone. Mrs. Thurston Howell III could coach football better than him.
