Hello all. So I have been meaning to write up about my overall experiences gambling online as I have been doing this for over 6 years and play poker and wager sports. This is a quick list of reason of why YOU MUST AVOID BETONLINE and in my opinion the best site online bar none is 5Dimes.

--Bet online deposits take longer than anywhere else when using monogram and **.

--Customer service folks barely speak or understand English let alone actually get anything done. You need to get beyond the supervisors to get anywhere.

--This is a big hidden "screw our customer" concept they implemented a year and a half ago. If you every use their LIFETIME bonus of 25% you have the usual 6 times rollover that isn't bad, however you also CANT MAKE A CASHOUT for 30 days. In 2013 I was up around 10 grand and couldn't cash out because I had received a bonus for $12.50 free play. I am not lying about that. Even if you go to complete zeros you have to wait 30 days. There is no reset.

--Poker issue and lack of customer concern. Their poker platform isn't bad, but they have ton of connection issues and take their damn time in resolving issues.

--They will pay out but many times there is an issue. I had $2000 go missing from my account and I eventually had to track it down as they said their processor couldn't issue the wire. Instead of getting a hold of me I had to contact them to track it down.

Overall they are just an awful operation. I have gone back once in a while and continue they disappoint me. Most recently they had a software poker meltdown that still has not been resolved in terms of refunding money.

BENEFITS of 5DIMES.

--Although great customer service is hard to get from any site online, 5 dimes to me is a must use if you want to bet sports.

--Great payouts. I mean I get payouts instantly almost, no lie to a debit card once you pick up a money pack card or vanilla. This was unreal when it happened. I mean a $1000 to my card in less than an hour.

--Best promotion in my mind. The free 8th and 9th deposit promo. Check that out and you can cash out immediately.

--Early lines and they don't bump favorites like Bovada.

--I don't play poker there much as they don't have the games I like, so for poker my input is not as deep.

These guys just make deposits and payouts the 2 most important things easy. And they will always pay you out quickly. I have NO ties to either of these sites. I have used around 5 sites including bovada and to me 5dimes is far an away the best. Bovada is also good but I haven't used them in a while.

BET ONLINE should be your last resort. They are awful from start to finish, but the poker isn't bad when it works. Hope this helps any new players feel good about wagering online.

I also forgot a few important things:

--Betonline "IF Bets" blow. You can only do them on the phone and only your original wager if that.

--Betonline You can't buy any points on parlays.

5dimes on the other hand "IF Bets" you can do online and as many as you can on off one bet.

5dimes you can buy points when you parlay, which often makes a huge difference.

What is your recommended funding methods for 5Dimes? Couple years ago I used **, but it does not seem pretty safe to use now.

Yeah not sure why this guy has such a hard on for BOL. Sure 5dimes and a lot of others are great books but BOL is right there with them. Theres benefits to having each and everyone of them and if you kept multiple books last night would not of been an issue for you. As far as getting paid from BOL goes I have never had an issue, takes 3'4 days for a check to arrive at my door from time I request. Theres a lot of books out there who cant say that, Sportsbook.ag for example is currently on a 4-6 week window for payouts.

5dimes is the best if you bet peanuts. It doesn't seems right when I can bet $10,000 for american bj but limit to $10 for mma prop bet. I like everything about Betonline except the 4.5% deposit fee using bitcoin.

Good detective work. Always seems suspicious when someone with fewer than a couple of hundred posts starts bashing a book for such well known issues.

I'm not a fan of BOL myself, but hate to see people with clear agendas muddying the water with more than one post about their experience.

I agree with the guy -- from everything to site functionality to customer service betonline sucks. I've stuck with them because they simply refuse to close my account so i wind up throwing a few bucks in there when I'm bored but they're horrendous overall. This "power outage" during the ncaa title game was the straw that broke this camel's back. Unreal.

At least I can bet more than $50 at BOL. But, if u need to bet small then 5Dimes is good.

I recommend going online and ordering a prepaid debit card from either momentumcard, OneVanilla, Rush.

BOL would never be my first choice fo a book, but is a good 3rd option. Nice bonus, vanilla lines, have not had any problem cashing. Similar to old Legendz or Justbet before joining BM.... but BOL offers more options.
