lol Lafon! what's your logic or analysis....or even just your expanded opinion on this? Hope you're winning though. I pretty much just play hoops games that have spreads of 5 or less

I don't always have time to post all that USC is over rated and no better at home then on the road. Cal on the other hand is in a great spot here to grab the road victory just like my northwestern pick earlier.

I thought about taking Cal after they went from +3 1/2 to +1 1/2. I just thought it was pretty odd. Now don't get me wrong, I have been fading USC most of the season so far because I too think they are over-rated. I just couldn't pull the trigger on such a small spread with Cal after watching them play horribly against UCLA in their last game.

USC is up by 2 with just a couple minutes left in the 1st. I think Cal can pull this off for you. I may even put something down on Cal for the 2nd half.

    Good luck!

not much opinion on the line esp. now that the game is over. EDIT: actually i probably would have gone USC and been wrong. but boatwright hasn't been playing for USC and he's an amazing player.

cal had a bunch of losses - played some really good non-conference teams but some poor losses too - and USC only had one or two before last night. but power ratings had them near even on neutral floor.

both teams have had injury issues at different times this year so they are sorta moving targets........ i have noticed that bennie boatwright hasn't been playing for USC but too lazy to google what injury he has.

should add that cal really needed that win for its ncaa tourney chances........ need a few quality wins and i think they'll have 8 opportunities in the pac-12. so far they are 1-2 in those games. and i'd say usc at home and away (last night) are their best chances for a good win.

i guess the p12 tourney too. but again i think oregon, ucla, arizona >>> cal and no other team other than usc is a quality win - sorry, haven't checked if utah is reasonable team this year.
