In Durant's case... HE'S THE #1 REASON OKC FAILED. NUMERO UNO. They had the Warriors beat Game 6 then he choked like very few superstars have ever choked before. And I rarely use the C word for athletes b/c most times it's really unfair to use it. But not in KD's case: you could palpably see how nervous he was down the stretch of that game; his nerves affecting his body movements/shots.
Impossible to root for Dubs now; will root for anyone to take them out.
smitch and tatddy need to reevaluate their loyalty and consider moving to Vegas and jumping on the new NHL's hockey team. Not sure about smitch, but know tatddy could easily make the team's cheerleading squad so there's a job right there.

I agree w/ Bite's sentiment. I LOVED the Warriors. Now, I HATE the Warriors...b/c of this turd-burglar Durant.
You're right, Game6 wasn't just a choke. It was an ego-induced choke, based on Durant making sure that he gets up 30 (poor) shots. He lost the game, period.
OKC was up 8 with five minutes to go in game 6. Not only did they choke but it was Durant who had several key turnovers and went 0-6 shooting.
Durant helped build the 3-1 lead but he couldn't finish like you expect a superstar to do
Durant even getting trashed by the French..... it's gotten really bad
How utterly corrupt is the nba for allowing this? Golden State now has four of the top 10-13 players in the NBA . How do you sell tickets to most teams have no chance? It is basically now a two-team race with the warriors and maybe the cavaliers , maybe 3 teams with the spurs .It is already a very small league with the very small chance of anyone but a few teams winning the title.
The nba is one of the most poorly run sports . Why do you buy tickets for games when you know who is going to dominate the league and who is going to be there for the finals

It's horrible for the sport. If you're starting five has about half of the top 10 players in the league, so what if you win a title. I would hope you I could win by making an All-Star team.
It doesn't mean as much.
The east parity was bad enough but now this basically made the west irrelevant. I hope the spurs might have chance with some trades but they are just old. Why would fans even buy tickets to teams have no chance? This is going to be like college basketball at the start of the season where powerhouses play crap teams and every spread is crazy high.
Why would fans buy tickets to nba games where their teams are so outmatched in talent, such a disparity in talent now

In the 80's, the Lakers owned the West and the Celtics, along with the Sixers (and later the Pistons) owned the East. The NBA did just fine with a three team race.
Don't hate bite. I may look like Will Ferrell chearleading but I have no challenge to 15 warrior girls.
