    Memphis +4 all day

Against a struggling Cavs squad I'll take that

Cardinal Rule No.2: Never wager a large sum on your favorite team.

Is Randolph and Allen playing? If they both play then this is a great bet.

Looks like they aren't playing. Allen out and Randolph did not make the trip.

the point really, is that some of the time, a handicapper knows his own team soooo well
(and they do) and sometimes they are spot on..

but many times.. the gambler is blinded by enthusiasm, and devotion
and does not take the time to handicap specific matchups..
and it is those matchups which determine the outcome, and the large wager is lost..

but if a guy is just having fun, and wants to play with a $20 bill.. why not?

i just feel bad when i see fans drop a dime or more out of pure devotion,
and then experience a double-whammy loss..

    1) their fave team is crushed.
    2) they absolutely destroyed their bankroll

i once talked a guy into getting a refund from his bookie
before the World Series started.. this guy was from San Diego
and the Padres were playing the Yankees in like '1998

he bet the Pods to win the Series, for a dime.
    Yanks won in 4

Grizz are still exhausted from the triple OT win over the Spurs back on 12/17. Better not bet the Grizz until after X-Mas. These dudes have checked out for the holidays..lol.
