    Atlanta--

    Alright fellas we are off to ALANTA motor speedway this weekend and will racing action in all 3 series. Trucks on fri, Xfinity on sat, and of course CUP race will be on Sunday afternoon. This week is when real handicapping will come into play with at least some less luck involved. Always luck involved in racing but u know what I mean. Here is hoping we all have a profitable weekend!

    ATLANTA is a 1.54 mile quad-shaped oval that is a unique to all cookie cutters. The track has 24 degrees of banking in ALL turns and 5 degrees on the straights. This racing surface is OLD and worn the hell out, which is usually a great recipe for racing and the drivers love it, but it's being repaved immediately after this weekends race for the first time in 20 years.

    Not sure with the changes at dimes when odds will be up but wanted the thread up b4 they were. Been watching past races and loosely going over my driver notebooks and Atlanta track book but still reviewing them

    Everybody's picks, opinions and thoughts are always welcomed and encouraged. This will only make this a better opportunity for us all to cash in weekly. Hopefully we all have a great weekend!!!

    Notable stats.

    Hendrick has won last 3 starts here. Jimmie the two years this has been back to a early race.

    Kurt, Harvick and Junior are only drivers to have finished on the lead lap every start over the last 6 races.

    Khane has only managed 1 lead lap finish in the same time, which was a race win. He qualifies well though.

    Harvick has led a lot more laps than anyone else over last 6 races.

    greeks wording is terrible...it's under championship but also says "to win the race"

    no CUP odds yet.

    Its so wierd about an within Greek posted their truck and xfinity odds 5dimes posted theirs, but for some stupid reason they did not do the same for the cup odds. I don't know what they are doing this season. Makes me think they want to see who is getting hit the early #s or something. It never took them til Thursday to post cup odds before

    Like a few others opening odds but trying to hold off since this is the 1st opening weekend of a "real" race. Tempted on JR +1350 and truex +1150 but I have questions

    sure didn't take long for JJ and Harvick to get bet down from +650 openers.

    Just was reading how nervous SHR is about this transfer to ford. They liked their plate package but VERY nervous about intermediate racetracks. Building own chassis and loss of the Hendrick book is gonna hurt. Their motors didn't even fit right. As much as I like Harvick here based on recent history, if they struggle early it's may take them a while to get things going this year

    Harvick looks dominant so far. Best 10-lap bag and in the pole

    opti heard the chassis is from last season, which makes sense I guess

    gonna try and get a parlay in last leg for him Sunday. Doubt he will be bettable at fav odds and will will def be the fav no doubt

    i liked JR too hawk just haven't pulled the trigger on him. Got Elliot, Larson, truex so far. Not adding anything else for cup til tomorrow probably with 2 races today

    not sure what's going on with odds honestly. Even Greek wasn't up as early as usual. Maybe it gets back to normal in a few weeks. Was looking for ur early plays and noticed u hadn't posted yet so figured u were just busy. I always like to know ur thoughts man. One of the few guys I missed getting thoughts from when I was gone
