The Blues are in Florida for two games after losing a low scoring shoot out with the Jets. This team has played great defense, while struggling to score a lot of goals. Elliott has made 12 straight starts (1.67 GAA), giving up 1 goal or less in five of the last seven. They are a stingy, defensive team that shows a lot of discipline on special teams. Their total PP/PK rating of 106.6 is well above median (PP 6th,PK 3rd) and has improved more than 15% in February. They've only given up one goal in 19 times shorthanded this month. The Panthers are home after dropping a 7-burger on the Sabres, but giving up four themselves. In fact, Luongo has given up 3 or more goals in his last three starts. They have to play again tomorrow night against the Preds and are home for awhile and after last playing on Tuesday, starting a 'three games in four days' stretch. Their season and Feb PP/PK rating stands about 11% below the Blues. Considering both are in the top ten in the league in Penalty minutes per game, I'll go with the better special teams and hot goalie of the Blues.
