Question on Parlays vs. Open Parlay Payouts

I asked this question in player talk but not getting much response:

Been doing a few open parlays for small amounts for fun with the US Open.

I have a question with the wagering/payouts of them. Say I have $20 and I put them on two $10 parlays.

The first one I have just one pick and one open pick, the second is 5 picks and 1 open pick.

On the 1st parlay I just take a -110 pick, the second one I do 5 heavy favs that when all put together payout the equivalent of -110 for the parlay. When I place the 2nd open pick on the 1st parlay, and the 6th open pick on the 2nd parlay, if they are the same pick (say +100), will the payouts of the 2 parlays be the same?

If beforehand both parlays were worth -110, are they worth the exact same when added with another exact same play, or is the 5-teamer worth more at -110 because of how multi-pick parlays payout? And it will accumulate into greater odds faster with more teams? Or is it only what the current odds are at of the parlay? I don't know how parlay payouts and odds and math all work out to be.

Kind of a confusing question but I hope someone can understand what i'm asking and answer me. This might be a really simple answer that I'm missing because I'm an idiot. I'm just curious basically. Thanks.

Yes, both would be the same, +282 , once you add the +100 play to both

Even though they are two parlays, with a different amount of teams, they are still essentially just -110 single tickets

Okay thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if two parlays calculated with two same odds, but with a different number of total picks in the parlay, would make a difference.
