    For Sheeites and Giggles, anyone interested in a British Open Fantasy Contest?

    If you guys want, we can run it like the Wimbledon contests---right here in one thread.

    I can group the players into 4 tiers-----you select one player from each tier, points awarded to place of finish---winner take all.

    Anyone? Let's say 20 points to enter? Winner take em' all.

    Post in here if you are interested. If we get 10 folks interested, I'll create the tiers later on today, post them in here, and you guys can just post your selections in replies.

    Okay, we have interest.

    Here are the rules and scoring.

    There are 6 tiers of players. Select 1 player from each tier. That will be your team of 6 golfers.

    On average, roughly 70 players will make the cut.

    After the cut, I will create a scoring sheet----number 1-70 (Assuming 70 is the # of players who make the cut).....

    The champion will recieve 70 points
    Runner-up will receive 69 points
    3rd place finisher will receive 68...
    Etc......

    The cumulative places for each of your golfers will be added up.

    Bonus Points:

    If you select the Champion--- +15 points
    If all 6 of your players make the cut..... 15 points
    If 5 of your 6 golfers make the cut....12
    If 4 of your 6 make the cut-----9
    3 of 6 make the cut----6
    2 of 6 make the cut----3
    1 of 6 make the cut----1

    If any of your players lead or are tied for the lead after the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd rounds------7 points
    If any of your player make an eagle----4 points

    TIEBREAKERS:

    Obviously there will be multiple ties for multiple spots----if players 5-6-7, are all tied for 5th---they will receive 5th place points.

    If there are 2 or more winners tied for total score, the entry with the lowest round in the Open will win.

    Of note. There is one player who may be scratched at this time---Matteo Manassero. His results are voided, I took him out of the selection group just to avoid any mistakes.

    Now, the last part.

    To make it easier for me to enter into a spreadsheet-----can you please enter your selections as follows:

    1---Player x
    2---Player xx
    3---Player xxx
    4---Player xxxx
    5---Player xxxxx
    6---Player xxxxxx

    That is all you have to do. Thanks for playing guys.

    To generate more interest, and because Lou and SBR John have been Super Cool with me regarding these contests-----I am adding an additional 150 points of my own to the payout pool.

    I am running multple fantasy leagues right now, so if you enjoy this one---take a peek at the Fantasy Football contests I also have. Small entry fees--you can even pay as late as August 26th if you like.

    Back to this contest.

    1st place is going to be 75%
    2nd place is going to be 25%
