    Braxton Millers season in doubt

Ohio State senior QB Braxton Miller reportedly re-injured his right shoulder during practice on Monday and his 2014 season is in doubt, according to beat writer Tim May.

Ohio State has not confirmed the news at this time. Miller was returning from shoulder surgery that took place in February. His practice time had been limited as his recovery had been slow. Miller just recently told reporters he was near 100 percent and was ready to start the season. Miller seemed to really struggle with his NFL decision last year, with many believing he wanted to enter the draft while he was getting advice to stay. Redshirt freshman JT Barrett will likely draw the starting nod now. The Buckeyes open against Navy.

This may be a blessing in disguise for the Buckeyes.

Braxton Miller was awful against Clemson in the Orange Bowl, he single handedly lost that game for the Bucks.

How good is the back up supposed to be?

As an OSU fan, this is bad news, but not detrimental. Kenny Guiten is very capable of winning every game... he has experience and he has always been ready when called upon. I mostly feel bad for Braxton... he has his critics, but hes a good guy and a team player... he will support Guiton. Im telling you right now, put something on Guiton to win the Heisman. If you can find it its worth a shot. Easy schedule, he could put up monster numbers... KG not nearly the athlete Miller is but he is not a statue by any means...

Guyton is long gone. OSU has a true red shirt freshmen starting, Jarrett something, who last year as a high school Senior tore his ACL in 5th game.

These must be the same guys who didn't know who Miller was last season. The utter stupidity of some people in here never ceases to amaze me. We know Bear is just plain stupid and a liar, but a guy who claims to be an Ohio State fan not knowing who is on their roster is rather pathetic. Get off your lazy arses and do some research before you go shooting your mouths off. At least read the articles.

Millers replacement is Redshirt Freshman J.T. Barrett, baked up by Sophmore Cardale Jones. I know this may be tough for some of you geniuses in here, but how many passes to you think Barrett has thrown in his college career?

Getting back to reality, the fact remains that Miller injured himself in a non-contact drill, possibly trying to throw an out pattern pass. If his shoulder is that unstable, what will happen if they put him in a game where there is going to be a lot of contact, and he lands on that shoulder? He is a running type QB. Next season Ohio State still has a weak non-con schedule, playing Va. Tech on the road, and 3 patsies at home. They also get Penn State and Michigan State at home. Ohio State may be better off red-shirting Miller for the season and giving his shoulder some time to heal.

No doubt if he races back to the field he will quickly find the bench again from an injury....its just who he is...people have high hopes for Barrett who is bound to make his fair share of mistakes....If Braxton is out Ohio state has no chance of any playoff hopes unless Barrett or Jones turns out to be a stud.....

Bear, serious question. Are you legally retarded? Do you get SSI disability for having an IQ in single digits?

Do you really think players can move from team to team in 1-A football? Like, say a backup at WVU suddenly wanted to play for Ohio State-- he could just move to fuking Columbus and suit up?

    Seriously?

how can anyone who watched the Clemson vs Ohio State game be excited about having Braxton Miller playing QB?

Honestly man as a Buckeye fan i dont think you can win the national championship with Miller as your QB.

Sure he can run and make plays against weak teams but against elite teams and i wouldnt call clemsons team last year elite ... he sucks. Too turnover prone. Reminds me of a black Tony Romo.
