As developed in http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/betpoints/...reward-p2.html, bobby and DS will be going head to head in a poker contest. The rules:

-Starting today, contestants have until April 11th to play up to 40 daily tournaments.

-only the first 40 dailies will count towards this contest.

-the player with the most points earned in the first 40 dailies wins. The loser will promptly pay the winner 2500 points and start a thread congratulating the winner on their superb poker skills. Official point totals are determined by beginning and ending screenshots where provided. As of now, DS' baseline is 650 points; bobby's is 2660.

-entries to poker tournaments will be determined by reviewing point history for 10 point poker transfers. While I'll do my best to sync these up with actual tournament participation as shown in the lobbies of tourneys, the 10 point transfers will be the official method of tracking number of dailies entered....so don't buy in to a ring game with 10 points on a day when you didn't play a tourney.

-I will be the contest judge, and will update the results at least weekly. To ensure accuracy, contestants are encouraged to post any cashes in this thread.

Strong sauce......What Tripe D conveniently leaves out is the vast majority of my non cashes are due to opposition suckouts, obviously the luck part of game which is out of my control. So I'll continue to get my chips in with the best of it, just a matter of time before winning %'s prevail & tide turns.

Despite all the bad luck, I still find myself on triathlon leaderboard, ahead of DS, & way ahead of Triple D in our heads up contests. Lucky suckouts are part of the game, otherwise I would have much bigger leads.

More to the point, it doesn't matter...DS has also seen suckouts. Saying you'd be winning more if you didn't lose sometimes isn't much of an excuse...the weakness in your play is independent of suckouts though, and will hopefully be the deciding factor in both contests.

Fortunately, you have 10 more months where you can keep revising your definition of success (first main leaderboard, then completely-inaccurate-ROI, then contest leaderboard) to protect yourself from the truth: you're not even good enough at poker to be king of 40 cent poker around here
