The Cubs suck. Angels playing great and actually fighting for the 1st place in the division against the Rangers.
I don't care if Lilly just pitched a NEAR no hitter, the fact is that the Cubs offense is atrocious. They won't give him any run support.
Weaver is a stud. The problem is that he is an extreme flyball pitcher. If the wind is blowing out again then Weaver has a prob.
Diesel must live in STL or something; he's faded the Cubs every game.
Betting against the Cubs has made me a lot of money this season. I think the line for lily is inflated due to his last outing.
how is -105 inflated for a home team? 10x on the cubs since it's Tha Disel's lock of the century.

Sure, Marshall and Marmol can throw scoreless late innings, but it doesn't matter. The object of the game is to SCORE runs. Cubs won't score runs for Lilly, therefore won't win the game.

I think Angels are a value here. Even though there is some risk, against low scoring offenses, Weaver has really done well. He has held Kansas City and Seattle scoreless. I think those two teams as far as offenses go are comparable to the cubs this year.

Lilly has been great as of late. I prefer the under on this game. The Angels' offense is not exactly a juggernaut.
