i think mattingly left him out there a bit too long it was hot as hell and the ball was flying out of the ballpark, but yea not a good postseason resume, guy is only 26, still time for him before hes considered an all out choke artist, well see if he gets another start this season

In kershaws six playoff starts lifetime he gave up SEVEN runs in three of those starts. Regular season he gave up seven 2/126 starts. So 1.5% of time in reg season and 50% in playoffs.

He is going to win the Cy Young. Everyone can have a bad game. It's manager's fault of calling the wrong pitches.

Some guys just are not built for big stage or tend to shrink in these moments for whatever reason. While Kershaw is the Manning of mlb, the Cards remind me of NYG in there past 2 SB years. Very mediocre during season but always turn it on when it counts. If Kershaw cannot beat Stl the Dodgers are done period , end of story!

Kershaws still a beast. He was pitching well until the later innings. Should have got pulled. Happens to pitchers all the time where in the later innings they give up home runs, etc. Normal to me.

He needs a strong game next start or he could get dreaded choke label

Funny how you can defend Manning now JJ. Yeah he won a single title that was kinda gifted to him and is nowhere near the QB he is in postseason we see Sept-Dec. And he was close to 30 when he finally won it so several years older than Kershaw. Not saying he won't turn it around and maybe get a ring at some point but the comparison is fair for now.

And it looks like his kryptonite is the Cards , like Pats were for Peyton! Hasn't Kershaw been playing for titles lately and let his team down?

    King Felix > Kershaw
    Fernandez > Kershaw
Kluber & Sale probably just as good and close to passing him

this thread is full of fail.

Kershaw pitched an awesome game until he got around the 100 pitch mark.

Why the fukk wasnt he taken out at the 1st sign of trouble????

The Dodgers have one of the best bullpens in MLB... Kershaw got tired thats all.

He wasn't his best even up until 100 pitches

You could tell the cards were seeing the ball

    Please make more excuses.

Kershaw was on EXTRA REST, and you're claiming he's tired after 6 IP and not even 90 pitches thrown?? Lmao, sounds like a vaginal problem to me

    Pivotal night for Kershaw.

A blow up here could really rattle him.

I grabbed STL +1.5 -113 last night because that was too good of a price at home and not because it was a "fade Kershaw" situation.

Put King Felix in the NL where he gets to face a pitcher every time through the lineup and he'd be better

Or put King Felix on a team that gives him run support.

If Felix pitched for the Angels, he would've had 30 wins this season... and that's not an opinion, it's supported by the #'s

Dont BS saying king felix will get 30 wins with the angels
hes one of the best pitchers but he will never win 30 games
kershaw, king felix, price and scherzer and healthy tanaka are the best pitchers
but kershaw is on a another level
nd if ur watching tonights game yul agree by tonight
